i love skillet they are one of the best christain rock bands of all time i just wish they would say the name jesus more in thier music i understand they are using thier music to reach out to the world but they could at least us the name more on the album songs that do get as released as much to singles so serious fans of the group who are christain can have more christ centered music to listen to
Yes but then their audience wouldn't be as big. Non-Christians do not want to hear Jesus all the time in the music...Christians listen to this whether or not His name is mentioned, they view and understand the lyrics as Christianity. every album with the exception of collide-comatose has a slightly different set of band members, so their style is like putting random ingredients into a skillet. They used to do a lot of techno, synthesizers, and sampling, but now they are much more hardcore. Although the whole ride through they remained a christian band.
btw, after recording and releasing comatose, skillet got a new drummer, so now their style will change again
depends on how long the bands been around, linkin park recently changed their style(like a year ago) and most of the fans are pissed because they no longer do much rap in the albums

guys i think you're misunderstanding what i'm trying to say. everyone including me deserves to go to hell. God doesn't want that for you though. He loves you so much that he sent Jesus to die for you. He'll save you gladly and all you have to do is ask. God's not like "oh you don't believe in me i will smite you" he wants you to be saved. I think I get the picture, it's satan appearing as an angel of light but being a serpent. The fake-ness is pointed out by the angel being a manikin with a wireframe and wooden body. Also the curtain will open to only show the "angel" showing to the audience with the snake hidden behind it.

This song came as a shock to me,since theres not a lot of songs by Skillet that are this hardcore.
Most of them are pretty calm compared to this.
I had to look back at the title to make sure it WAS Skillet.
Great song either way,not their best,but ver good.

I noticed the same thing, ladybug, and when I brought it up in history, my teacher told me to stop talking about stupid stuff and sit down, but she'll talk about Islam or Buddhism for hours straight.

this is completely random and has nothing to co with the song but how come we talk about all other religions in school like islam and stuff but we are not allowed to talk about chriistianity like at all we i think its stupid cuz every one elase can talk about their religion but christians its really not fair i mean we talk about islam,and other polytheistic religions but not christianity i do belive we should be able to talk about ALL religions and what do you have against this religion?

guys i think you're misunderstanding what i'm trying to say. everyone including me deserves to go to hell. God doesn't want that for you though. He loves you so much that he sent Jesus to die for you. He'll save you gladly and all you have to do is ask. God's not like "oh you don't believe in me i will smite you" he wants you to be saved. The reason he doesn't let everyone go to heaven is that then we wouldn't really have free will.

Part 2: we are not the owners of us. Jesus paid for our sins with his life (painfully) and it is the least we could do to try to pay him back. besides, i can tell you that not being a Christian will result in your damnation because its true. we decide what to do or think; hopefully believe the Bible. I am a Christian out of free will, not fear or intimidation. Jesus saved you out of love to give you mercy instead of justice. We should all burn forever, but we don't HAVE to.

I think I get the picture, it's satan appearing as an angel of light but being a serpent. The fake-ness is pointed out by the angel being a manikin with a wireframe and wooden body. Also the curtain will open to only show the "angel" showing to the audience with the snake hidden behind it.

uh, no. people are going to burn in hell if we Christians don't convince them to take Jesus' offer. God said atonement will be made for your sins. Jesus died on the cross so that if you believe in him he will take the blame for your actions on judgement day. Unfortunately many people don't like hearing that they aren't the most powerful beings in the world. Most problems don't stem from religion, they stem from disobeying God

like for example, evolution is all about how we got from a single cell to what we are... and the single cell came from where? oops thats a politically incorrect question isnt it :O!? you COULD say the same thing about God, but really, he could have made physics. therefore he could have just come out of nowhere because physics didn't exist then. the big bang contradicts newton's first law (things will continue moving at the rate they are (or stopped) unless a force changes it).
