First of all it is important to note that God does not need our worship but we need God. Why should you become a muslim? Because the Quran is the word of God. This book has not a single contradiction and has been preserved in the same form as revealed to the final messenger 1400 years ago. This book contains 1000 verses that contain scientific facts that only have been discovered recently. There is noway that this is possible and thus it is no doubt the word of God.
There is only one version unlike other scriptures and it is a guidance for all mankind. The only thing I can suggest is READ it and then make your mind up.
It is only God who can guide you so I suggest you sincerely ask him for guidance and he will most definately guide you.

There is no way to convince you of what religion is the right one, because no religion is the right one. Especially not Catholicism and Islam that are basically the same religion, only with different names and places. Most religions are based of the one and same ground religion, the name of I do not know though and think no one knows.

The point is:
Islam is as far as I know the only religion that appeals men to use their intellect, to investigate and not to follow blindly. In a false religion you wont find this appeal because the use of ones intellect would finally lead to the exposure of the falsity of this religion.

Actually the origin of life is irrelevant to the theory of evolution. The theory of evolution deals with how life changes over time (simple definition), it doesn't matter how life began. It baffles me why creationist can't understand this. There are many hypothesis regarding origins of life; abiogenesis, clay hypothesis, and so on. Just because these have not made it to the theory level doesn't mean one won't, or god did it. please take time to find out what the scientific method is about.

First of all it is important to note that God does not need our worship but we need God. Why should you become a muslim? Because the Quran is the word of God. This book has not a single contradiction and has been preserved in the same form as revealed to the final messenger 1400 years ago. This book contains 1000 verses that contain scientific facts that only have been discovered recently. There is noway that this is possible and thus it is no doubt the word of God.

The quran describes the orbit of the moon to be like a fig twig, the Greeks has an ancient machine that measured 5 of our solar system's planets a 1000 years or more before the quran. Finding something complicated is evidence of design. If someone found a clay pot buried in the desert, he would know that someone must have made it simply because it is complex enough to warrant a designer.

I do not know how life started, I'm not a biologist, though I have been following the theories and tests revolving around abiogenesis (interesting stuff). But again, that is only where life started off. Evolution is the theory of how everything changed and continues to change to better suit environments. It's not really up for debate at this point, only the particulars are between biologists. But again, I have not seen evidence for an intelligent designer, so why should I believe in one?

Even if they are what you claim, it isn't unique to Islam, the Maya had extraordinary understanding of Mathematics and Cosmological seasons.
