@MorbidPejon you have to use the manual focus for that. on the lens there is a switch that will let you put the camera into manual focus

Maybe D90 comes with the screen protector but the D5000 has the same CMOS censor and some more functions, like the rotating screen.

I got the D5000 5 months ago and I'm really really happy with it.

I have a new D90. It renders the color of wet mud or dark tree bark ect. as a shade of blue. I have checked WB grids an so forth but no fix. Any help? This is very disturbing, since I am an outdoor photo taker. Thanks for anything you might have.

they are both good. the d90 which is i wld prefer. more than the d500?but that dont really mattr cuz its the same for d5000 as well. But d5000 has a gd tilt screen,dats good part. read review i still cant decide as well wat 2 get. i wanna get the d90 cuz it comes with a screen protector as the d5000 dont cuz its screen is 2.7 as d90 is 3in. but the function they are good actually. but i would go d90. if i dont have enough cash for d90 i will go for d5000.

That somewhat is a review or an overview actually. Not a review as to what some people are used to granted. Just relax, Terry and Ryan are new to doing videos for an audience like this so everything isn't going to be 100% excellent the first week.
