  • In Bali, the singing is used to accompany 2 Sang Hyang Dedari dancers, bringing them into trance. The Sang Hyang Dedari ritual, at times serves as exorcism. But here the song is sung by a choir of university students in West Java. When sung by local Balinese elders without the professional musical training in its original native surrounding, the sound is so eerie (much much creepier...)
