Why is it so difficult to show a photo id card, showing citizenship, permanent residence, or temporary residence when needed? It can't be that difficult to walk with a small id card, the size of a credit card in the wallet? In other countries they do it, so why not in America? It brings in revenue, and govt can keep track of its total legal residents.

The person was not able to identify except to say dark skin & they pulled ashore & ran in all directions. Sheriff dept said the boat was from Mexico, I'll bet they were Italians on the boat ! They even bought the land from the Native Americans. Why is it so difficult to show a photo id card, showing citizenship, permanent residence, or temporary residence when needed? It can't be that difficult to walk with a small id card, the size of a credit card in the wallet? In other countries they do it, so why not in America? State govts need to issue their own id card, apart from a national one, a driver's license, and a passport for int'l travel. It brings in revenue, and govt can keep track of its total legal residents.

Why not have a well rounded, well educated child, versed in many languages other than their native tongue. The United States is lacking in foreign language studies anyway. Many other countries, such as Mexico, teach English AND Spanish in their schools. I am not sure what country you are talking about, but it is not the US. Illegal immigration drains our state governments, but not the federal government. I know, I have worked in construction for 30 years in S. Cal. NO ONE ever worked without a SS card in the companies I worked for, (most of the illegals have counterfeits), but they ALL pay in to social security. That is why both R & D administrations will NEVER do anything about the illegals. I am not saying that is right, just the facts.

California History Lesson
Do you know what happened this week back in 1850?
· 158 years ago California became a state.
· The State had no electricity.
· The State had no money.
· Almost everyone spoke Spanish.
· There were gunfights in the streets.
So basically, it was just like it is today, except the women had real tits and the men didn't hold hands.
