He knew his ass would be pounded by the weakest US Pros, as many Euro ex pats have realized (I think France holds the record for most over enthusiastic riders to come here and go home in a few years empty handed). Only a couple of FIM riders have completed an outdoor title in the US, Greg Albertein and..... have to go back to the 70's and 80's before my time.
@moto11ed Everts didnt care about the big money riding in the AMA, he only cared about the WORLD TITLES and history books. AMA is amazing and people go there for big money and great life-style, but most riders want to be a WORLD CHAMP first.
