In response to questions about where this was shot, the location was Point Sur lighthouse in Big Sur, California. Beautiful place. And it was fun playing the piano up on that windy cliff by the lighthouse!

It's too bad Grayson got type-cast as a one-hit wonder; This song's parent album, "Blind to Reason" was good all the way through! Every song on the first side is worth hearing! (For those of you not familiar, Grayson Hugh is best known for the song "Talk it Over".)

Dear jrsheeross - I made this video in Big Sur, California, in August of 1988. We used a lighthouse that is set on the top of a steep little hill overlooking the surf. We had to get permission from the Coast Guard to hoist a piano up there. It was a beautiful scene.

So great to see this again. I think I saw this only one time back in the 80s. Anyone who does not own Grayson Hugh's two full length CDs needs to find them and buy them. He is one if the best blue-eyed soul singers you will ever hear. Definitely a Soul Cat.
