Edit: I just saw your credits. PMIing with Eschaton is much faster wnd easier. You have to copy BSP and stuff with HMT.

How too use map.

1. Download the file (Link in description).

2. Copy the deathislandPMIL.map too MAPS in Halo Combat evolved.

3. delete the original map and rename the the downloaded one too deathilsand.map (With other words delete the PMIL at the end).

4. ENJOY!!!

yea can people join this cause im playing and everybody who joins quit after about 5-8 secs after they join, so was wondering can anybody join or they need the mod to join or its just a glitch??????

@kijahna1234 They can't join unless they have the map. This is because the method of adding vehicles to the map messes with the checksum of the map or something. I'm sorry, but I can't do anything to fix this.

@shadowsean2009 Just to clarify this is a mod for stock Halo PC, not CE. That being said, adding bases anywhere is nearly impossible to do correctly.

Not to mention I have lost my Halo key a long time ago and no longer have the game.

@egw2009 Extract the rar, raname the map file to deathisland.map, and put it in C:/program files/microsoft games/halo/maps

be sure to back up the original deathisland.map

@chris1997z I dunno then. This mod is a good two and a half years old and I havn't modded halo in ages. All I can say is make sure put it in your halo PC maps directory and replace deathisland.map

SL!P is well aware of this problem he wuit modding in 2008 and i quit modding 2009. we have the best times making noobish mods.. lol anyway.... he lost the file and me and sl!p are not very happy with filefront they delete or old creations then we lose them :( next time in our futer mods we well post on other websites besides crappy filefront.....

This is halo PC not halo CE. In PC there are metas, not tags, and creating new vehicles and such is much harder.

Also, this mod and video are both more that a year and a half old.

Well, I have a few things to say. First off, it would be cool(if it's possible, that is) to have a warthog turret on the back of the pelican. Also, I second Possibly3 about the spirit dropship(that'd be what the covvie fork thingy's called.

You asked us to say how the mod could be better. So i think that if there was a seperate seat for the turrent on the convenant dropship, and the turret could fully operate, it would be totally amazing.

USE EXCHANTON! it makes it soo easy, hmt you have to extract the raw model, and decrap them, eschanton 0.7.2 makes it oh so easy just exctract the meta and open a map then rebuild, 3 steps instead of 4...but extracting each raw model does take a while, the only problem is that you cant open in sparkedit after the PMI unless you convert using harbinger(i think, thats what i did but it didnt show tags) ^^ AND to sl!p you dont know me but im your biggest fan, i love your modhalo avis lol

Raw file...

Thats when your de-crapping, right? The problem is you need to extract the raw index/vertex data from the mapfile you got it from.

Open the map, go to tools->Generate Raw Model Offset List (CSV file) and save it wherever. Then go to tools->extract->raw model, load the csv file you just saved, and find vehicles/pelican/pelican. Extract it, and put it in vehicles/pelican.

I've never had that problem.  Worst comes to worst, re-download the file.

Also, make sure you're aplying on LAN.

As for anything else, maybe you gotta wait around. If they're disappearing it sounds like spawn problems.

As I said, I have never had this probelm, so I dont really know how to treat it.

Pelican - Blue base balcony

Covenant Dropship - Red base balcony

Wraith - below the balcony on either base

Lifepod - off to the right of the blue base, near the ramp leading up to the balcony.
