I can not belive the b.s. that some of the people put here. My grandmoth was a russian partisan commander on the odessa front. She also gave food and ammunition to jewish partisans at the risk of her own life while the rest of the world including the allies turned their backs. I am proud of what she did. I wish somebody would put a video about sobibor where a russian lieutenant helped jewish prisoners in a very successful uprising and breakout.

It wasn't Hitler's decision to go to war. When the Commies started killing German Nationals he invaded Poland. The Poles would have faired a lot better if they had joined Hitler in the war. Because they overextended their military against enemies who outnumbered them, and had to carry out military actions in bad weather, obviously.
Also, I don't see how they would go back to where they were when they were paying a fortune out to foreign nations, investing in foreign companies, and their industries were bankrupted, had they maintained peace for a few more years.

Saying he was a "military minded dictator" is not proof enough, given that he did better than others from 1918-1933, and had advisers who knew what they were doing.

There are not many films, if any, that portray the German side of this. It is not fair. Most German soldiers and SS men were trying to be patriotic and loyal and were caught in the middle of the whole thing. If they disobeyed orders they were shot or sent to concentration camps. So they really had no choice but to do what they were ordered to do. I think we should all forgive and forget.
