I'm not sure where the comments about the combat being slow are coming from. This is about the same speed as Dragon Age. Sure, the graphics aren't awesome, but who really cares? The past 5 years have given us a ton of totally disposable titles with weak repetitive gameplay that looked gorgeous. Personally, I'm tired of it.

This is pre-alpha footage, so even if you don't agree I would withhold judgment for now.

Hmm a fantasy cRPG with turn based system, nice the game could be great, but why there's no blood when hit enemy :/ i wish they fix that (and blood splatter all over the place), it would extremely improve fight system and a whole gameplay :D

Anyway it's worth to be tested.

well, yeah it looks really nice so far, but i have got a bad feeling about it:

there isnt still any release date, and it isnt like there is a huge publisher behind it.

In fact i just know of it as of today through some forum.

I fear it is going to vanish in developement hell in those times of big budget graphic bombs

They really don't make them like they used to... Im playing The Temple of Elemental Evil now and WOW, its a great game! TTOEE came out in 2004, but its graphics still beat this. I hope they sharpen up these graphics as they look a little "blockish" and child like. Take a look at the Temple's graphics and compare.  what do you think?

You know, everybody keeps talking about how this is going to be the next Fallout, but I'm not so sure I agree. One thing that Fallout had going for it was how visceral the combat was and this video shows nothing like that. I see a bunch of blocky lego men standing around waving swords at one another with all the vigor and agility of a pregnant cow, dodging blows after they have landed. I can't believe NMA praises this and then has the audacity to make fun of Fallout 3's animations.

It ain't like Fallout, it's like Old School RPGs, being Fallout one of them. Sure, the GUI is very similar, yet I think fallout was way more than just a nice GUI.

and btw... ANY isometric, turn based rpg will "resemble" Fallout. We just identify it more with Fallout, because F 1&2 are the pinnacle of the genre.
