I understand what you're saying Richard but have you ever considered that the person in the first service station might have lost her mother that month, might be genuinely depressed for whatever reason but at was least trying to provide a service.

@glusburn That is a good point. There is a slim chance that something might have been bothering this member of staff. But I think we can all agree that there is far too much poor customer service than there should be in the UK and beyond.
