In the movie "for shits and giggles" they made a machery in ways of the former nazi state..like the black guy in German uniform? ect ect...In the movie the nco's wore a ww2 Regular army uniform, and the East German officier's more that of former East Germany. The East German helmuts were not dipicted in this movie thou...The East German army uniforms of Officiers and NCO's never changed alot for reasons I don't know after ww2?

I can't say why, but this cow wearing boots is one of the funniest things I've ever seen. It just wears them so naturally. To be honest, this cow does some of the best acting in the whole film (not to say the acting in the film is bad--which it isn't--it's just that this cow is that good). If there was an academy award for best animal actor in a supporting role, I would have rioted had this cow not won. I would understand, though, if it were to lose to Russell Crowe. I jest.

This movie is sooo corny!! How can anyone claim this to be "funny"? Where is the humor? The jokes and antics are sooo generic!! This movie isn't imtelligent, witty, or anything close!! But even at my advanced, decrepit age I sometimes watch this and still laugh my ass off. But then, I've been trying to keep a small part of myself as childish and immature as possible. @spacecowboy5000 I like that...I understand what you're saying...I guess that is similar to how I view certain Christmas movies ( my favorite, being 1951's black and white version of, "A Christmas Carol")  because they remind me of a time where I was younger or they take me back to a time where things were different...My mother introduced me to that version of "A Christmas Carol."Alastair Sim is in that version and I say, he played the role of Scrooge superbly..

@nicomell1 No matter how many times they remake "A Christmas Carol" the Alastair Sim version still stands out as my fave - alongside "It's A Wonderful Life". There again, when I saw "Scrooged" with Bill Murray I almost busted a gut. Not exactly a remake it fit in with modern values. It was hilarious and sometimes scary - which fit well with Murray's character. I've been a Trekkie since I wore diapers. Hearing others arguing about this and that... It's the essence that's important, not the lights

@spacecowboy5000 Here Here!! I agree!! I couldn't get myself to watch any other version of "A Christmas Carol!" Alastair Sim was born for that role. He is just a delightful actor. His portrayal of Scrooge was filled with such emotion, sentiment, and passion. I watch it in black n white every year. 'It's A Wonderful Life" is also a good movie. Very heart warming. I like Bill Murray and he was great in "Scrooged." It was funny, modern, but still somewhat faithful to the original story of Scrooge.

actually this would be some of the best humor out there believe it or not. it's what most people call "white humor" because the old humor was pure and didn't show off a bad image to anyone. nowadays the humor is quite bogus,and what i would call "corny" as you say, and most of it involves violence. such a humor is simply ridiculous and just plain stupid,for lack of better expressing my opinion.this is indeed one of my favorite movies though and i wish more movies like this were made!
