@scubamufc76 well no one knows the answer to that except the people in the club. we need a good kind of stability, not the kind that comes with an old, stubborn tactically limited coach. with AVB we can hopefully put a few good years together and finish renewing the core of the squad. we need 1 more key player and 1 or 2 role players/depth guys then we'll be set, but i do think the area that can be most improved is the front office. Roman should leave the football matters to the right ppl

@eyesea im in a great position being one of the few ppl i kno who love both american sports n football here n i can compare the two, the refereeing is 100 times better in US whereas in football the refs make bad calls every game becasue its too much for them, not a criticism of the refs but more of the system.
@tasirul im totally with you, its the system. in football the refs can do whatever they want and not really get punished for bad calls either. in the us they get reviewed a lot of the time and in the NFL especially they have teams that work together so they are better at communicating during games which i think is great. in football bad calls are the norm sad to say. especially in the biggest competitions

@Charters232 Not all dislikes are from porto fans, as an FC Porto supporter i would prefer that he stayed with us to at least one more season because of the ECC, but he is clearly trying to follow his mentor footsteps and it would be quite selfish of me if i didn't respected his wishes after all he did for us, the only thing i didn't liked at all about this was the fact that he promised to stay another year and in the end he left without even a goodbye.
He doesn't need it but i wish him luck...

ok im a man u fan and am not saying anything bad bou chelsea for once but i believe AVB should av stayed in Porto for 1 more year and then go to chelsea. In the meen time Chelsea bring in Hiddink for a year and watch how Porto do in the Champions League if they fail badly then keep Hiddink. The premier league is, almost certainly, the toughest league in the world, we have MU, Arsenal, Liverpool, Spurs, Man City etc. you have benfica and sporting. thats it. you may have prestige, but we have heritage, history and pride.

@scubamufc76 Although, I don't agree with the way Chelsea do business, I think with the amount of money Abramovic puts into the club, he has a right to get rid of a manager if they have not fulfilled their contractual obligation. I work in sales, and if I dont sell, I get sacked, if a manager is employed and it his duty to win a trophy then he should expect his P45 if they don't materialise. As good as Villas Boas is, if they win nothing then he will be onn his way next year.

@scubamufc76 well no one knows the answer to that except the people in the club. we need a good kind of stability, not the kind that comes with an old, stubborn tactically limited coach. with AVB we can hopefully put a few good years together and finish renewing the core of the squad. we need 1 more key player and 1 or 2 role players/depth guys then we'll be set, but i do think the area that can be most improved is the front office. Roman should leave the football matters to the right ppl

@eyesea yes you are very true on the final point there. i believe what chelsea need is a extra ST (neymar) an CAM (pastore) and a RWB (maicon) but AVB said he needs no improvements so i dont know what will happen. I must say i cant wait for next season for the tussle between SAF and AVB for the title but just say if you had another bad season with no trophies then RA needs to give this guy a chance, but i believe you will win something with this guy. @IndianaJoel93 u must be kidding, clubs like barca, united, lfc, arsenal, RM and all the other big names are billed as brands and franchises above all else. they even put a stupid idea of fancy playing style as the top priority along with winning, which american teams don't even do. in the US teams go for wins above all else and there is actually technology in the game when it comes to reviewing calls. also they have better refs, even in the nba! i love football but i love US sports too

@eyesea im in a great position being one of the few ppl i kno who love both american sports n football here n i can compare the two, the refereeing is 100 times better in US whereas in football the refs make bad calls every game becasue its too much for them, not a criticism of the refs but more of the system.

@tasirul im totally with you, its the system. in football the refs can do whatever they want and not really get punished for bad calls either. in the us they get reviewed a lot of the time and in the NFL especially they have teams that work together so they are better at communicating during games which i think is great. in football bad calls are the norm sad to say. especially in the biggest competitions

@eyesea its the system because the level of difficulty is too much for them, they need help which fifa dont give them. NFL is the best refereed league ive ever seen where any mistake come as a shock because it rarely happens whereas in football a mistake is most-likely. And with american sports because its only 1 country teams that are bad can end up winning the championship in 5 years time with the draft and free agency where in football because theres so many league its impossible

so true about the competition. its almost impossible to win the league in the NFL back to back years but look at every footy league besides the PL, its always the same 2.
I wish both sports could learn more from each other, NFL making stronger the relationship between fans and team, and footy with the officiating
