nope wrong.... SN95s were only 94-98... LMAO...... The 5.0 Sn95s had tail lights that went side 2 side instead of up and down. Mid way thru 95 they swapped out the 5.0 for the mod motor 4.6 overhead cam 4v. They changed the tail lights to up & down as well as added 4.6 into the gt badge on the fenders.

the 99-04 are referred to as "new-edges" but they are still on the same chaise and still called sn95's. They are almost the same cars. besides body panels, and H/C/I. In 01.5" they changed some other things like waterpump pulley set up and transmission. The GT's (bullitts too) are 2v's and cobras(later on mach 1's) are 4v's

Ya, this is true. Didn't realize they were still called the SN95s tho. I didn't like how the front end looked on the New-edge ones, they also took out the side scoops which went away from the retro look. I think the 08s are the best looking since 67-71

Here better for you Ford often used animal names as their "code" names for different chassis. The late 70's saw the release of the Fairmont on Ford's "Fox" chassis, which the 1979 Mustang was then built upon...hence the term, Fox Chassis or Fox Body Mustang.

If I'm not mistaken it was a fox body chasy till the newer models like the 2005+ those aren't fox bodies they're 100% redesigned so 2004 stangs and older are fox bodies. Hope that helps you a bit more :-)

Its was an internal code name Ford used. Technically its called the FOX chassis. This chassis dates back to 1978 when it was first introduced in the Fairmont. All mustangs, including cobras, up until '04 share this basic chassis design. Ford just code named it differently as the body styles changed. The s197 (05 - ) is an all new chassis. Apparently it was scheduled to have IRS, but Ford scrapped it to save $100 a car. 03-04 cobras have IRS.

BTW, I currently own a '89 fox coupe and 95 sn95 GT!

thngs are getting tougher all the time , allthough i would say at this moment we have probably the best products we have ever had comeing out of ford(in particular the falcon) and holden (gmAustralia) at this time, the falcon inline 6 in turbo form is a ball tearer , even in NA form the falcon 6 family sedan with 6 speed auto breaks into 14 sec 1/4, the falcon gt with the boss 315 kw (422hp NA) is the best its ever been , your probably familiar with -

I've been running 12psi on my 69 block with 93 internals for a year. I have an a9l, pmaf blow through calibrated for 60lb injectors and a timing lock. Dizzy is set to 11 degrees. No detonation on 93 pump and car goes 10.20's. Its a five speed notch. Could daily the car if I wanted to.
