  • MItt Romney is a R.I.N.O! Hell, he passed a state size socialist health care bill in Massachusetts; it even had a forced mandate to buy health care, too. Again, Romney is a big government established R.I.N.O..

  • Heres a tip about getting with the times people. Everything being debated here has already been hashed out and explained. Here's the real of our world today, and why none of anything being talked about here even matters:

#1 The United States no longer has its own government

#2 The World Government uses terror to control the masses

#3 We are stepping right into Facism with the outcome of this election with anyone but Ron Paul.

Search out these 3 facts, don't argue until you research.

  • Feel free to offer links that prove your points or even mere Google word combos that would take people to the proof you believe is out there...Agent Fox Mulder.

  • Why aren't you considering a vote for Ron Paul?!?!?!?!

    Crazy.

  • I'm hoping lightning strikes twice and we get another statesmen that runs, any party, doesn't matter too me.

  • I will now, though I am sad to hear that he may be dropping out soon too (by the end of March?). We'll see. If he's around to vote for this fall then we may have a deal.

  • Where did you hear that???? Stick it up with fact, Huckster, stick it up with facts. Practice what you preach. 'I hear' 'I think' 'My opinion' as beginning of sentences don't count as fact. How about listen to Ron Paul himself, as he has said for the last week that the media came out and straight up LIED about him ending? He has said time and time again over the last week "I am not dropping out" "I am not dropping out" "I am not dropping out". What now?

  • I saw Mike endorsed McCain today, are you going with McCain now or sticking to your guns of writing him in?

  • Once I read through Obama's record, I saw that he voted for partial birth abortion six times total (national and state level) and even went as far as to allow a doctor to "complete the procedure" in the case of a botched abortion (the doctor would be legally protected in killing the baby on the table, completely outside the womb) I was shocked. No man that devoid of humanity should be let near the White House. So, while I pray it's not McCain, I will vote for him over Obama or Hillary.

  • Well for me they are all the same in the categories that I care about. All of them support the patriot act and the military commisions act, all of them have said they will stay in Iraq past their terms and all of them have huge budjet deficits. Yes the dem's want health care but they have tried to get this passed before and it failed and I'm sure will fail again. So I personally see no reason to throw my vote away on any of them. Hoping another Dr. Paul enters with an easier pill for the public.

  • Sadly, in talking with my friends on the Huckabee campaign, those in Texas say Ron Paul is going to drop out within a week of today. What's worse, I am left with a candidate (McCain) that leaves me so unexcited that I can hardly try to convince you to vote for him. All I can ask is that you check back right before the general election and I will be sure to make a video that states what few bright spots there are in those who remain.

  • Well your friends are wrong and you are misinformed.

Now, you can continue a pity party for yourself, OR you can join the real Americans that aren't giving up.

No, I won't be checking back. Your opinion doesn't matter to me. I'm doing what is right, and you are not. Ron Paul and all of his delegates will be at convention, and you will not. You are very uninformed.

  • Way to win the masses over with your wit and eloquence. The reason that Paul is doing so poorly (besides the media bias against him) is the hubris demonstrated by his supporters and you are case in point. I would more likely to vote for Paul if it were not for A-holes like you. When Ron Paul loses then what are you going to do?

  • Want to know what happens when people vote on "traditional conservative issues"?

    NOTHING!

We end up back in the Middle East without a realistic strategy...our economy crashes.... we continue to lose more jobs...illegal immigrants still cross over...abortion is still legal and gays are STILL GAY!

    Grow up.

  • Oh, I guess you forgot about the 80's where America achieved world supremacy, defeating the Soviet Union, tore down the Berlin Wall, experienced 7 consecutive years of balanced budgets, six of those in the black, had the standard of living double and the lowest number of average military deaths in 30 years. Then CLINTON took over and failed to kill Osama Bin Laden THREE different times, even once after the first World Trade Center Attack. Stick to the facts, Clinton ruined this nation.

  • Ahh yes, the Reagan era. When the rich got richer and the poor got poorer. We never knew from one day to the next if there was going to be a tomorrow with that senile s.o.b. If it weren't for the fact the rest of the world knew he was a demented old lunatic and felt sorry for US, they would have snubbed us off the face of the earth.

It's ironic you even mention Regan and Bin Laden in the same paragrapgh. Who do you think armed Mujahadeen in Afghanistan you idiot?

  • Again, I refute your moronic claims with facts and weakly come back with some emotions your mom fed you as bathed your 16th birthday.

We offered weapons to those willing to help overthrow the Soviet Union yes. We fought those we knew to be enemies and killed them. Had Reagan been president when Bin Laden turned against us, he would had the set of cohones on him to pull the trigger which Clinton failed to do THREE TIMES!

  • As far as Clinton, it sounds like you are blaming him for not doing the same thing that Bush still not has been able to do. Clinton sent troops and authorized the killing of Bin Laden after the bombing of two US embassies in East Africa. Oh but you don't recall that do you?

Clinton had a year and a half. Republicans have had 6. My, what a selective memory you have.

Here is another suggestion. Stop arming everyone moron and we wont end up fighting them in 10 years!

  • Bush, unlike Clinton, has never once had Bin Laden in the sights of a weapon. Clinton had the opportunity to have Bin Laden shot once and bombed twice and was given opportunity once after the first WTC Bombing and he still failed.

Clinton dropped our military levels to the lowest per capita in 60 years and cut military spending to the lowest level in American history. Clinton also signed off in reductions to the CIA and the FBI (factors cited in the follow up report of the OK city bombing).

  • NOPE! Wrong again! He ADDED to special force ground units near Pakistan and Afghanistan. In fact, the United Nations, gave the US more tactical freedom to carry out the mission than any other effort in 5 years...but guess who questioned it? REPUBLICANS! Lets dig up the Limbaugh tapes shall we and hear fat-boy rant about how Bill needed to stay away from Pakistan?

You are clearly in dyer need of better info.

  • It's matter or archived public record, more than 30 officials in both organizations had asked for resources to monitor domestic threats and Clinton would not give in. Three high ranking FBI officials quit because they felt that Clinton was against them and that the OK city bombing could been prevented had Clinton given them what they wanted.

Also, check out the ABC documentary detailing the three times Clinton failed to kill Bin Laden when he easily could of done it. Those are the facts...

  • Here is another little tib-bit to chew on. As far as terrorism, we were more focused on what disgruntled decorated US Marines were doing in Oklahoma City. That WAS our terror issue. Again, how soon we forget.

  • Why is that r's and d's just don't get that neither side is evil? To me it seems an aweful lot like the religious situation in Ireland. Protestants fighting Catholics, it's insane. In our case our country votes almost blindly for a letter (r or d) or someone's name, at the expense of the country. So what if your letter won.

    Reagan = Awesome republican.

    Clinton = Awesome democrat.

Both of them were good presidents, neither was flawless though.

  • Here is a point on which I could not disagree more. As a Christian I do not feel that most Democrats possess moral virtues (most endorse the killing of the unborn) and the Republican platform states that their candidates will defend the sanctity of life. The letter (R or D) means life or Death for 4,000 babies a day. There is no choice for a Christian, none. If you argue that point then faith is not central to your thinking and we will never see eye to eye.

  • As far as Clinton being a good president, you could not be more uninformed. Among his myriad lowlights, getting caught being blown in the White House and lying about it, choosing not to kill Osama Bin Laden THREE times AFTER he bombed the world trade center basement, selling our missile technology to China advancing their technology over 20 years leaving them with the ability to now strike us, slashed the military to the lowest levels this century. Clinton sucked worse than most Democrats!

  • Gasp, he got a hummer, impeach him! Clintons worse offence was the over 100 pardons he gave on his last day in office to contributors to his campaign.

Clinton not pulling the trigger is propaganda, he did pull the trigger once, and missed Osama, but we managed to kill a couple of dozen civilians with that shot.

But since we are comparing the two's evils how are you on the Iran Contra or the Presidents working group on financial markets.

Your killing me, because I actually love Regan.

  • I do not think that he should have been impeached because he got blown by some fat chick, but I absolutely care, especially as a Christian, that he committed perjury. That he swore to tell the truth but then bold faced lied, he many other things did he lie to us about? Had he owned up, acted responsibly, then I have no issue (I mean look at his wife, who could blame him?) Lying under oath, especially over something stupid proves the Clinton's stupidity and his hubris.

  • I don't make the assumption that I know when life begins. Catholics didn't (still dont't?) use any form of birth control and they are christian. So is life at conception or is it the very act of love making has the 'potential' for life, thus any form of birth control is immoral. Or is it that life doesn't begin until several months of fetal growth?

You know so far organized religion has a horrible record of being scientifically correct.

I trust god, not men who think they know god's will.

  • If you think God's Will is anything but to err on the side of caution with regard to human life, especially life that has not yet received the chance to claim Jesus within their heart, then you have read a different Bible and prayed to a different God than have I. There exists no doubt that God is highly concerned with souls' ultimate destinations based on their choices on earth, so if you think that God is okay with someone that may be considered killing, your issues are with the man upstairs.

  • Sorry one last rant, I hear all the time, "but we are the richest nation on the earth", and that is simply not true, we are the poorest nation on the earth. Countries are starting to loose faith in dollar, they are holding less and less of our securities, a couple of countries wont accept it for oil anymore, I'll bet you can guess two of them =).

  • Three are on charter to not accept -but do accept currently. Iraq, Iran, Venezuala.

  • Huckabee scares me, I don't think he understands what the constitution is. He wants to amend the constitution to be in "gods standards". By this he's talking about creating an amendment that defines who can marry who.

This is frightening because the constitution is for limiting government powers not limiting US citizen liberties. It doesn't grant rights it only recognizes them.

He's a great person and I respect him morally, but I don't think he's able to seperate religion for duty.

  • Have you ever read the Federalist Papers? I honestly believe in reading them that our Forefathers could never have anticipated that the country that they founded to promote religious freedom and that they birthed would ever consider abortion or same sex marriage. At the the time they wrote the Constitution abortion was a capital offense and there existed no country on earth where people of the same sex desired to have their decision recognized. They did not see this immorality coming.

  • Not saying I disagree with you, I don't think the founders were clairavoyant either. BUT, they did have the foresight to know that if left unchecked that government would grow and becore tyrannical. Thats why we have a constitution to limit government powers not the poeples. So the ability of the founders to foresee moral issues has nothing to do with the constitution, only government restrictions belong in it not people restrictions.

  • The Lizzard of Oooz suspends his campaign. McCollaberator McCain's dog Toto musta pee'd on his leg.

  • Can I ask you a question NOtoMcCain?

  • Yes, of course.

  • What do you think about Ron Paul? Im just asking not trying to swindel your vote. I just like to know what you think of him and his record.

  • Honest answer, I liked Paul before I liked Huckabee-Ron has a fantastic tax record, great pro-life record, wants to return the value of the dollar and limit entitlements. My main disagreement with him is over how quickly we should leave Iraq and that is why I sided with Huckabee. The other main thing is his presentation style, for a man with such brilliant ideas, his ability to communicate and look presidential is extremely lacking, which is seen in the vote so far. He's great though.

  • The main thing to remember is that pretty much the only way to stop McCain now is through a brokered convention, so every for someone other than McCain is a win-know that while I still want Huckabee to win, every vote I see for Paul makes me cheer (though I still don't get votes for Romney-if you are out there and thinking of voting for Romney yet, McCain will NEVER pick him for VP, the only chance we now have is for Huckabee to knock McCain out). I appreciate that Huckabee treated Ron well.

  • Here's a comment to get us back on Huckabee, during one of the debates he was asked what would Jesus do, and while the question is silly for the most part, it does bring up the christian litmus test for war called "the just war"

    1. Just cause - Yes.

    2. Comparative justice - NO

    3. Legitimate authority - NO

    4. Right intention .. NO

    5. Probability of success - NO

    6. Last resort - NO.

    WW II - YES

    IRAQ - NO

If 1 of these fails christians should renounce the war yet Mike is pro war.

  • Sorry but you Mike Huckabee or any other president will not get the IRS abolished. It just wont happen because then politians would lose their power and that my friends is reality.

  • If we lost the IRS we would lose stabillity in this country. The IRS prevents a civil war. Not between colors, or thoughts, but wetween clasess. The IRS levelizes our society by taking from upper middle class and middle middle class single people and redictributing it to families, and lower income individuals. Also, disable, and elderly people benifit. Int this manner, the middle class doesn;t push the lower class into death and starvation.

  • This is not true, the IRS collects money to pay on the debt and the interest of our 9 trillion dollar debt, built by d's and r's.

The corparate tax equals our milary budget the other 50 taxes pays for the other federal programs.

But as been discussed before the majority of welfare programs are state run. (state taxes)

  • The welfare programs are all state run but the money is administered through the federal department. The same is the case with Food stamps, welfare, WIC, usda, fda, and highway departments. The state is collecting money to staff a program that will be funded by the federal government. Do a wikipedia search on food stamps.

  • The IRS is not the problem, they are just the collection agency for the real problem. The privately owned bank that runs America. The federal reserve (central bank) is privately owned, don't believe me, look in the white pages and you find it right under UPS, it's not listed in the government listings, or watch freedom to fascism on youtube.

  • You are saying, wrod for word, the words from a video here on youtube. You are more brainwashed than the "mediawashed" you claim roam the country. The federal reserve is one of four LARGE world banks that maintain harmony upon Earth. In the past 30 years they have rpevented GREAT depressions about ten times. The most recent, two weeks ago.

  • Yeah it is a LARGE world bank, and that makes it ok to run our country why? They haven't ever prevented a great depression, in fact quite the opposite, they are responsible for the only one we had (so far).

You know so far all you've talked about was how horrible it is to cut spending on the welfare programs, why don't you tell us what your thoughts are on freedom?

Seriously I am very intrested in this.

  • The federal reserve made some mistakes around the time of the first stock market crash. But, since, we have been just about the most prosperous nation in the world. Jsut two weeks ago a fed rate cut was the ONLY thing that saved the world from falling into economic depression. I beleive that we are free -and that we have a great country in whcih you can stilla ttend any church, get an education, and live happily. You just can't do ANYTHING that harms ANYONE.

  • I meant what do you think freedom is? You say we are free but the government taking however much of my wealth they want and doing what ever they want to with it is not free. Or being drafted and sent to die is also not free. What does freedom mean to you?

And the great depression was not just 'some mistakes around the time of the stock market crash'. It was the worst and longest depression in US history.

  • George washington said for an economy to be free, every person must be a soldier, as was the case in Rome.

  • It was Jeffereson and probably also the reason the right to own guns is the second amendment.

Every citizen should be a soldier. This was the case with the Greeks and Romans, and must be that of every free state.

    -Jefferson

No one understood freedom more than these guys. We can quote them all day long.

Banking establishments are more dangerous than standing armies.

Commerce with all nations, alliance with none, should be our motto.

    -Jefferson.

Or just listen to Dr. Paul.

  • how can you not like the draft if you agree with this statement?

  • Simple really, Jefferson and many others did not want a standing army, navy yes but not army, as it could be used to overthrow our own elected government. His vision was that every american owned a gun and would be drawn into the army if we were invaded.

See one is your protecting your family and country, the other is you do whatever they want for whatever reason they want.

No response on the other quotes huh?

  • Nice spin on something taht wasn't. Jefferson wanted every soldier to enlist in the Union Army. This is wanderful thought you have applied to factual history but it isn;t anymore true than the man in the moon. This research is simple, and much easier than applying opinion or "revisiionist" history. Jefferson wanted everyone to be an enlisted soldier.

  • The fed decided to burrow and print another 145 billion dollars, that is what has got us into this mess in the first place, all this is doing is prolonging and amplifying the coming depression which will be the bankrupting of this country. Did 'we the people' tell them to do this? No they do not have to answer to us (Our government). The federal reserve does what ever they want with out money.

  • You have a couple of options in this election, sadly, it has come to this. Either you continue to print money, to keep it afloat, or you stop. If you stop, your economy will crash -as will the economy of every country in the world. I jsut don;t udnerstand why this is such a hard decision for you. I base my decisions on immediate result, especially when the decision will kill everyone in America if you choose to give up the fed tommorrow.

  • I didn't say tomorrow, I said get rid of them first.

Yes we can get rid of them too and we should as has already been discussed. The founding faughters knew about fiat money (paper money) flaws and that is why they put in the constitution that only gold and silver be used as currency and that only government coin it. Research it please.

  • We talk about all these threats around the world but we never talk about this domestic threat. The Federal reserve is our worst enemy right now. How? It is constantly attacking the value of our dollar, it is the sole reason for inflation. It's the reason houses went from 5000 to 500,0000 dollars, why so many people can't afford a house, why we need two incomes instead of one family income, the list goes on and on. Want to help the poor? Kick these guys out first!

  • I like your passion but I fear it is misdirected. Housing prices were $5,000 when? I beleive you are referring to a time in history in which lumber was cheaper, transportation of lumber was cheaper, metal was cheaper, as was transportation, and realestate was cheaper. ALL becuase land has become more scarce, oil has become mroe scarce, and populations have BOOMED.

  • They were when the hover damn was being built, which was actually after the Fed was in power. The increase in housing prices are not becuase land has become more scarse, the only thing destroying land that I know of is global warming =/. The reason home values have gone crazy is because the fed is printing money like crazy, that the whole inflationary bubble thing. The fed is inflating the economy creating bubbles, the current crazy bubble is housing.

BTW sorry for stealing the thread.

  • You have proven yourself to be insane if you think that land didn't go up in price becuase it scarce.

  • Price went up because of two things, the value of the dollar went down and the demand went up as population increased. But you said because land got more scarce and you are wrong in fact we gained a few hundred thousand acres =/. Land became more plentiful not scarce. Make sence?

  • I said land went up becuase land became more scarce. Not that we lost land - but more people wanted it.

  • Houses were available and plentyful in the 1950s in the $5000 range. The increase since then is primarily due to inflation: the decline of the dollar, printing money, ending the gold standard - blame the Federal Reserve.

The dollar has lost over 95% of it's value. That means, due to the fall of the dollar a $10,000 house in 1950 would cost $200,000 today, and guess what, IT DOES.

  • The 95% is from 1913. You aren't taking into consideration the variance in income either. 50's prices inlcude these averages. House: $14,500 - Average income: $3,216 - Ford car: $1339-$2262- Philco model 1403 TV: $199 "home entertainment" TV system: $549.50 12" records: $4.85 10" records: $2.85 Milk: $.82 Gas: $.20 Bread $.14 Postage stamp: $.03 Pumpkins : $.02 cents a lb Campbell's Pork & Beans - (2) 1 lb. cans: $.25 Sirloin steak: $.77 lb Kraft Mayonnaise - : $.62
  • Exactly. That means that most of the change of value of land, houses, buildings and all the other things you cite is due to the Federal Reserve stealing the people's money through the inflation tax. They printed money that wasn't backed by gold and stole the people's wealth.

  • again, not enough gold in the world for each of us to have a piece.

  • Actually the constitution says gold and silver, and there is plenty. Our money used to be backed by silver and gold, it can be again. Silver is around 16 dollars an ounce so 16 silver coins can be made per ounce, gold is around 900. So lets say this competing currency starts circulating. Which are you going to be asking for, for your paycheck? A money that loses value every day, or a money that goes up in value every day? I choose gold and silver over monopoly money any day.

  • again, not enough gold in the world for each us to have a piece.

Since the retirment of the gold standard popultaion has grown from 36,000,000 to 351,000,000.

  • Ok, lets assume that most of the great economists in the world are wrong, and that money doesn't need to have some form of intrinsic value. You think the answer is to simply print more money as population grows? I'd hate to see your checkbook! hehe you sound like the guy that says i can't be out of money i still have checks! hahah thanks for the laugh.

  • You're welcome. =)

I know it is hard to fathom but we've been printing false checks for alittle over twenty years now. Our millitary is our account officer and anyone that doesn't take them is in big trouble.

Just straight talkin ya here - these are the facts.

The problem is that in 1972 -76 we began running out of gold. Not that we were using it all, but that there wasn;t enough on Earth to support backing money with it.

prior to gold was seashells, sticks, and human hair. -

  • Hehe your preaching to the chior, but I'm glad we can finally agree on one thing =). You say we were running out of gold but in truth there was plenty of gold and silver here for us, we were robbed, and the really sad part is we have been getting robbed since 1913, and we knew it, and yet we continue to let these theives steal our national treasure still to this day, lets fight them!

Oh yeah and how many of those seashell, sticks and human hair empires are around today?

  • well - we killed each of them -to be frank.

  • someone actually rated me down for saying that we killed major groups of people. Are we actually to the point that we're not only denying, ignroing it, failing to tell our chidlren, but now we are sensoring it and rating people down for saying it?

Wake up - we are fuck ups.

  • We do NOT need more gold, nor do we need an increasing supply of gold in order to back money with gold. A fixed supply of gold would be just fine. There is no need for more money.

If the supply of gold and thereby the supply of money is fixed, it just means that there will be a gradual decrease in the price of everything in real terms relative to money. This will encourage savings and investment and will make the world even richer. Postponing consumption is good for the world.

  • This guy says hes pro family weeelll you should look at Huckabees family to dude. His son fucking murdered a dog and Mike kept the press off him and revoked the charges for animal cruelty. Hmmmm thats real pro family values. I bet you would back your son up from murdering your neighbor. Do real research just take my word I never lie. I promise you.

  • With the filth that pours from your mouth, you don't need to add lies to the mix. If the actions of one's son keep you from voting for someone and thereby you blame potential candidates for the actions of those close to them, then there is no one left to vote for, so feel free to stay home. No candidate is perfect. Mike did what most fathers would do, protect those they love, he broke no laws, was not cited for any ethics complaints over it.

  • Did his son screw up? Yes. Does that invalidate any points that I made in this video? Absolutely not. How dogs relate to family values is beyond me. What's most disturbing is that then make the preposterous transition from a dog to human and you equivocate the terms. You may not lie, but your logic belies your puerile intelligence.

  • If he is doing what fathers naturally do then he is not allowing his son to develope from what is right and wrong. Therefore in my eyes he has failed as a father figure and as a president. Imagine what else he could condone without his better judgement. Its not that I equivocate dog and human but between what is right and wrong. I believe your a good man sir however if you kill a dog or your son does even mine we both fail at being the fathers we were meant to be. Please comment back.

  • There are numerous articles regarding the severe punishment that Huckabee choose to discipline his son with over this, 100 hours of unpaid community service including summertime ditch trash collection in the Arkansas heat and supervised kennel cleaning at the local Humane Society. I think that was a pretty good response and one that clearly places value on the action as wrong. I do youth ministry and I know myriad good parents with troubled teens. It happens despite their best efforts.

  • That is true no matter how good a parent can be whats to say about the teens. But Huckabees son was over 20 yoa(adult) and still his father enabled that behavior with lack of guidance in my eyes. I still agree with you when having troubled teens, however its that hes running for president and he would condone the same behavior as he did as a father in office. He used his position in office to swindle the prosecutors in that case and now he gets only a 100 hours of c.s.

  • Please go to my videos and you'll see the interview with Michael Isikoff describing the scandal and poor investigation of David Huckabee's actions. Please let me know what you think. I seen people going to jail for far less violent cases like dui's and then get probation, but David gets off with only 100 hrs. Now does that seem like favoritism? Legal terms they call that conflict of interest if the father helps a son. That should be considered in his run for presidency. That is illegal.

  • In 1998 John Bailey, then the director of Arkansas's state police, told NEWSWEEK that Governor Huckabee's chief of staff and personal lawyer both leaned on him to write a letter officially denying the local prosecutor's request to prosecute Huckabee's son. This was published in Newsweek during that time frame and can be found with a simple search using the site of your choice.

  • This really is a very poor argument, I know someone who got caught stealing that doesn't make me a thief. Your using a logical faulacy. The sky is blue and my shoes are blue therefore my shoes are the sky.

  • What the poster is saying is not circle rhetoric. What the poster was saying is that Mike Huckabee took the son's disciplinary action ruling from the court and bypassed it, for his son. ANYONE caught brutally murdering a dog in ARkansas, the natural state, is practically stoned to death. But not little Mike- becuase big mike precluded his scentence with a huckaburger stamp of approval. NOT that becuase his son is bad, he is bad -that's not good logic.

  • Is there proof that he kept the press at bay? I saw an enterview on TV and he said he did nothing to influence anybody. Not saying I don't believe you but I'd like to see a vaible reference if possible.

  • In 1998 John Bailey, then the director of Arkansas's state police, told NEWSWEEK that Governor Huckabee's chief of staff and personal lawyer both leaned on him to write a letter officially denying the local prosecutor's request to prosecute Huckabee's son. • American revolution 4th of JUly we all march on the capitol. Spread the word.

  • Thank you for your excellent comments!!

    I voted for Mike Huckabee.

  • Mike Huckabee is the man! If your state hasn't voted yet... now is your chance to make a difference! Now is your chance to have a tax system that gives power back to YOU! FairTax is freedom! Imagine being able to save money without it being taxed three or four times. Hell, imagine being able to save money for the first time! Imagine bringing home your entire paycheck!

  • Sorry, was just reading you apply for food stamps at the state office but it's a federal program.. my fault.

  • you're alright - =) I really like your other rhetoric and comments.

  • And as for the CFR, their goal of one world is great but its how they go about it thats sad. Many of the people who join the CFR don't really know the true meaning of it behind the scenes, they join because it looks good on a resume. But the real truth is, they want one world gov't to control the people in THEIR twisted point of view, not for the benefit of the people. It all sounds good but when you look deeper, its all a joke run by the rich.

  • there are only a handful of memebers in the CFR. you can't say most people joining it don;t know what it is. It is a very small group of individuals. They udnerstand why they are there.

  • ron paul ftw!!!!

  • Ron Paul is still the man!!!!

  • Huckabee's foreign policy adviser is Richard Haas, president of the Council on Foreign Relations.

    And I quote:

"The goal should be to redefine sovereignty for the era of globalisation, to find a balance between a world of fully sovereign states and an international system of either world government or anarchy." Richard N. Haas president of CFR

  • Being the president of the Council on Foreign relations is a great thing. The goal stated is a great thing. They want us to join with the rest of the world, tear down our walls, let everyone go everywhere, be friends with those that are firendly and have war with those who want war. This way, we work towards world peace., If you shut yourself in a box the pressure mounts on each little flimsy side until you collapse. You cannot crawl into a box on this overcrowded planet.

  • So you think it would be a good thing if the USA no longer existed and instead we had the North American Union? And I suppose you think it's a good thing that our civil liberties are being trampled on and the constitution can be virtually ignored?

And do you also think it's a good thing that the people who own the Federal Reserve also control our government and have been bilking us since 1913 through income taxes? Wake up!

  • killing you? it is quit possible that you are alive becuase someone in your family was supported by a governmental service. If not, than KUDOS - most americans cannot say this. Food inspections aved millions, welfare saved millions, food stamps saved millions, and YES -I think is time to quite locking ourselves in this box and pretending that the rest of the world is okay. IT IS NOT -it is time for us to embrace those we have hurt for so long, and accept a New World Order.

  • New world order!?! No thanks, being serfed to one government is quit enough for me.

  • you wouldn;t be "serfed" to more than one government ina world with only one government.

  • Not true, there is currently an EU but that didn't overthrow their current governments, they just have to obey both now.

  • that situation is temporary, until the implimentation of the remain union, the NAU -after the NAU forms and UAE and UK and EU draft resolutions the four will be on - with United Nations finally realising that their name is appropriate. =)

If you want to beleive in utopia, and goodness of people, and free markets, and prosperity why not look towards the goal of the entire world joinging together, under one form of leadership?

  • Because power corrupts, our government was the first governement created with a constitution of limiting it's power thereby limiting it's corruption. Unfortunately there seems to be alot of apethey these days, either that or a feeling of helplessness, like nothing can be done. Our government has gotten too big and too powerful. Jefferson had a litmus test.. if the government fears the people there is freedom, if the people fear the government there is tyranny. ...Ever had an audit?

  • People who get audited are only in trouble if they lied. Lying, is what causes a MAJOR portion of our budget deficit. But - I wan't to change pace - Power corrupts, yes! That is why we cannot have a free market, unregualted business. Power... corrupts. Someone would need to monitor this! Who? Who you say? How about American people. Perhaps, perhaps they could work for a not-for profit oranization. Hmmm. That IS the governmeent. You want to take us RIGHT back to where we are?

  • When you file your taxes you are providing self increminating evidence, becuase you can be jailed if the paperwork is wrong.

And no, the deficit is a combinatation of over extended military and over extended entitelments.

Since the 1960's when LBJ introducted the 'Great Society' (40 YEARS AGO) we have spent 7 trillion dollars at federal, state and local gov levels, and there is more of everything it sought to get rid of.

  • And pave a way for a world dictator ?

  • well, if you want to get down to it, it wouldn't be a dictator. The United Nations controls a major portion of the world now. We are at war becuase of their request. The United nations isn;t one person, it's representatvies from every nation (that participates so far) So -it would be more like a group dictatorship. Each country having its oown little dictator in the big house.

  • A little glib are we ? You obviously haven't seen the full evil of the human race, nor the stupidity of people blindly following their leader. Have you not learned from the World Wars as to how dangerous such a thing is ? It is impossible to unite the world for obvious reasons.

  • That's exactly what I've been telling Ron Paul supporters -people are evil, the government must take care of us - people never would.

  • In case you don't seem to get it, I'll go slowly this time. The government IS made of people, and most of the time, selfish, greedy, people. The government serves the people, not the other way around. When the people start serving the government, that is when you have tyranny.

  • How is the government not supporting people?

  • Huckabee is the least of the two evils .. true. But we have a conservative choice that isn't evil! THE true conservative is Ron Paul. Yeah he sounds crazy with 30 second sound bites, like abolishing the IRS completely, but everything that he says the media thinks is crazy is based in the constitution. The IRS collects taxes unconstitionally. Research this stuff it's so important! You tube search "Ron Paul is a nut, show me the law!"

  • So, what happens to the delegates that Mitt Romney had now that he's out of the race? -thanks.

  • Mcain gets them, becuase the other guy is a kook.

  • Great fact based answer. The real answer jrnuss is that it depends on the state, some will have vote "uncommited" first round, others will still vote for Mitt since his campaign is only suspended and not ended. Most states allow their delegates to vote as they please on the second vote and that is how Mike Huckabee is going to win.

  • Sorry bout the factless answer here - I think I did well in the rest of your post though - I've brought forth a lot of conversation. =)

  • Yes, I will give you kudos for that so thank you. It is good t examine the way things are in relation to the way they ought to be, I am excited by the yearning that Ron Paul has to return to our roots and smaller government, but I realize how utterly unelectable he is in seeing the votes so far. Hopefully Mike can incorporate some of Paul'sideas and unite his supporters at the convention on the way to Mike's win.

  • We could only hope.

  • Sorry, but I have to disagree. Neither Mike nor McCain are electable. 70% of the voters are against the war. The republicans are going down in a huge ball of fire if they say "the war is worth the blood and treasure" and we are going to stay there till we "win". Now throw the most fiscally conservative candidate against hillary or obama.

    Dr. Paul to:

Hillary: I voted against the war you voted for it.

Obama: You say you were against it but you have voted to support it on every vote.

  • 70% of voters have given their support so far for the people who like war - not trying to flame here, but at what point will these voters vote for what a person against the war - so far they only like the ones for the war.

  • Yeah, I know and I'll take a thumb down to agree with you.

  • fuck huck

  • Why do you Republicans use bullshit semantics like "conservative" or "values" or 'family" why don't you just state you have irrational beliefs in a sky daddy.

We don't want the evangelical right to have their noses in politics. That is why the semi-intelligent GOP majority have decided on McCain and the next president will be Oboma or Clinton. You clueless faith-tards put Bush in power and the liberials won't let you gain that political power again.

  • Mike Huckabee represents what the majority of the Republicans do now, he isn't a real conservative, he champions the neo-con military style/high morale and family values platform introduced by Jerry Falwell and the Moral Majority in the 80s. Yes values are important but if thats half your platform....well wow....I don't want to hear about government trying to amend the constitution to define marriage, I want the government to fix serious issues that actually mean and have effect on us.

  • Mike Huckabee is almost as liberal as John McCain. Huckabee supoorts illegal immigration! AND wants to give college aide to illegal immigrants!

Get your facts straight before posting propoganda!

  • O.K. Hannety you can post your real name now.

  • You haven't even looked at Huckabee's plan for illegal immigration. His plan makes it obvious that he's not for "illegal immigration".

And the only reason he gave college aide to illegals is because the federal government wasn't doing anything about the situation. What was he supposed to do, let them rot?

  • The only reason he gave college aide to illegals is becuase he wanted them to vote for him.

  • That's stupid... they can't vote if they're illegal.

  • In MN, where I live, our laws have become so liberal, anyone with driver license can register the same day and vote. Nothing more required.

  • AR is part of the south, they're not that liberal.

  • If they can go to college, they can vote. In arkansas, all it takes is a valid ID.

  • Ron Paul is the only REAL conservative. Huckabee will increase spending and raise taxes. He will destroy the economy.

Only Ron Paul can save America.

  • Ron Paul would transform America SO radically that only remnants of her borken shards would remain in place. Imediatley infants, women, and children would starve with the ending of WIC, administered through the USDA. Food inspection would stop. Income redistribution through IRS taxation would allow 30 million lowe income families to go without for the rest of their lives. Races would colide, the poor would become even more poor. The middle class would SHOOT UP and the rich would become dictators

  • anscfoster: Only the remnants of America's broken shards exist at the present. Ron Paul wants to restore the constitutional republic that the founders intended it to be. You think that free market economics would bring about division and class warfare, but the reality is we've never seen the true free market work. It's always been corporate welfare and government-corporate collusion that dominates economics in America, that's why there's a bigger class division now than ever before. Ron Paul '08

  • You CANNOT restore something that never was. You can try to make it start, but restoring is not applicable. The constituation protected the rights of white land owners, ONLY. That's whow anted it, that's who got it wrote, that's who signed it, and that's who it was for. That's the truth, and you cannot argue it. White people, who owned land, were protected by this document. The rest were just machines to make the thing work.

  • no he says it would take time to come off of those programs he wouldn't immediately shut them down. and huckabee is not a freaking republican. my whole family never voted democrat(we live in arkansas) til the huckster effed us so much

  • The huckster didn;t F us! I am Arkansan as well. These programs, would end within a week. That's a ron paul statement. "when would you end the IRS" "whithin the first week."

What Ron Paul supporters are supporting is natural selection, survival of the fittest. Those who make it do, those who don't - don't. The reason you have never seen a free market work is that it doesn't work. Thsoe are called dictatorships. In which one corporation or power gets so fucking big that it takes EVERYTHING.

  • I am a conservative and I ask that you play by the conservative rules, stick to the facts.

Mike Huckabee hopes to reduce marginal rates on individual and corporate income, institute credits for tuition, and eliminate the "death tax." He has said so during three separate debates.

Regarding your time in Arkansas, feel free to offer a specific action that Mike took that you disagree with.

  • Mike pleaded, begged, and prayed for a tax, any tax, he said -would be much appreciated. this tax, was for the funding of illegal immigrant education. That's the week the Gazette put out the article calling him Tax-hike-mike. that was an arkansas gazette statement about him. We hated the man!

  • Feel free to post the link. I have been impressed by your knowledge thus far but I can't believe that you, like so many ignorant others would try to take these quotes out of context. You know the context and the rhetorical nature in which they were spoken, tactics like that are wholly despicable and completely erode your credibility with me.

  • How about the gates of hell statement? I suppose you like that as well. I didn't mean to offend you, and I appologize -but he was labelled tax hike mike for the speech that has here on youtube by the same title. these things wern't taken out of context -you can wath the video and see the context, and research the gazette online and read their articles.

  • Where do you get this info?

Starvation? WIC is a the state level program hence Dr Paul has nothing to do with it.

Food inspection? So you think it's better that the american tax payer pay for suboptimal inspections than the producer being held liable?

Elimination of the IRS is offset by cutting spending and a return to the sound money economic policy (ie no more fractional reserve banking).

I just wish people would spend a little time to understand what Dr. Paul is trying to do.

  • OH my god. The lack of understanding overwhelms me and my typing fingers are becoming sore! WIC is the Women's Infant Children program of the United States Department of Agirculture. It provides nutritional supplements to poverty stricken American families in the form of infant formula, peanut butter, eggs, bread, milk, and cheese. Also, it provides child services such as counseling, doctors visits, vaccinations, and so on. It is not state level, it is federally funded.

  • My parents grew up in the great depression Anscfoster and they will even tell you that the gov't has intruded in our lives way too much. Whenever gov't gets involved in ANYTHING, the prices go up which in turn ruins it for the poor. Its proven, even by federal reports, that when gov't takes a step back and allows the free market to work, prices drop, health care becomes cheaper, our currency keeps and value and more.

  • Prices drop, healthcare becomes cheaper, and our curreny keeps value better becuase the services are worth less -are of less value. There is less demand, becuase those who needed the help of government DIE OFF and our curreny stabalises, for the very same reason. MOST people have a relative that lived through the great depression. A lot fo what you hate about our government today was what carried us through the great depression.

  • I was in the ER and 3 times last year.. I got a collections call from some company representing the doctors. Appearantly you need to create a giant sign on you chest to use in-service doctors or insurance doesn't pay.

I paid them with my own money and they nocked off 20%. Reading a healthcare manual is harder than doing taxes. Get the government out and saving immediately start to be realized.

  • These hopsitals are subsidized by federal funding. Do you think it will be cheaper without this funding?

  • I believe so yes, as it is now you spend about an hour preparing to see the doctor, and about 2 or 3 hours waiting to see the doctor. Then the doctor does tests (to avoid lawsuits) that are unneccessary and then comes the crazy price for prescription.

When in a free market you would simply call the doctors office and the nurse would be able to help you first on the easy issues saving countless hours and money.

  • The Dr. avoids lawsuits becuase PEOPLE provide him with this encouragement. Money hungy, sue fast people. The government doesn;t make the doctor do this, people do. you can call the nurse nowm and get most everything handled if your Dr. isn't a dick. The Dr. only has to write the script.

  • You have had a much different experience than I have with the medical industrial complex, I think is fair to say.

You know all of this is really irrelivant though as the real problem is that we are not free anymore. The government owns our lives with the Draft, they own our property with taxes and they are working on making theyre leashes better with real ID and phone tapping and other surveillance methods... sickening.

  • Ah thought this was food stamps. My bad. But it really doesn't change the fact that with Dr. Paul in office there would be an unprecedented period of prosperity. This so called stimulas package is 145 billion, giving each person who paid taxes around 900 dollars. Imagine the permanent stimulant of all your taxes back. The economy would go crazy and everyone would benefit.

  • Except the people who are dependent upon the social system. disabled, needy, poor, immagrants, and minorities. Sure, white land owners and white mama's boys would do really good. Perhaps we could bring back the 3/5s rule and not allow a slave freed in one state to be a free man in any other state - that was constitutional as well.

  • Acutally Dr. Paul is the only one who has a REAL plan to save those dependent on the system while the rest of the country is weened off the state.

On you last point are you blasting Dr Paul or the constitution? Because paul is the least racial of all the candidates.. research.

  • Food inspector's hold corporations accountable, with federal funding. Corporations were killing people, with food poising in the early 1900s. MILLIONS died in hundreds of foodborne bacteria outbreaks. Therfore, the government was asked by the people to begin inspecting food. Corporations were more interested in making money than making their product safe. It is verifiable truth, read sinclairs "the jungle."

  • What was the reason for not sueing the companies that where at fault?

  • The IRS money is redistrubeted to the needy, the disabled, the diseased, the weak, the poor, the schools, the school lunches, the children, the edlerly, and mothers and fathers. The income tax cannot be offset by removing our military from every ocuntry in teh world becuase then every country in teh world that depends on our military would shrivel up and die and we would have no where to buy our good from, no one to buy our goods, no one to trade with, and no one to talk to.

  • Anscfoster, your on crack. First our tax money is going mostly to our military and our policing of the world for large corporations. yes some does go to supporting the needy, but I know many people on welfare & disability who don't need to be. Plus our overly large federal gov't wastes hundreds of billions a year on pork barrel projects that just go to special interests. You can save literally trillions by cutting spending and ending taxes at the federal level. Wake up.

  • OUR TAX MONEY -personal income tax does NOT pay for the military. This is so much fact that you could find it ANYWHERE you look. Corporate tax and terrifs pay for the military.

  • The IRS is a thug organization used to collect money to pay off the interest on the national debt. Schools, welfare, food stamps, unemployment and such are state level .. nothing to do with the IRS.

  • You are uninformed. Schools, welfare, food stamps, unemployement, are ALL federal funded -for the MOST part.
