This butterfly is adorable. I was looking for something small enough to decorate a newborn booty. The problem I have with this tutorial is that it's off frame and your going to fast. I'm a beginner/intermediate crocheter and I'm having a problem with following it.
My aunt used to make these the same way!! She showed me how a few years ago and I made quite a few...now that you've reminded me I think i'm going to start making them again! :)

all those looking for antenna look alike stuff..try looking at flower making materials..i rem using those when i made paper flowers.This was really really easy to make i did a slight change in last row over the half triple i made a picot(3chain slip stitch in first chain) Its come out cute,Thanks for the video.Great tutorial
your video is interesting but it's hard to follow you when the camera is everywhere and some of the time you're not even doing it in the camera. It's hard to see which stitch you are talking about sometimes cus it's hard to see with the color string you picked. would love to see more and a better close up.

I wanted to see if I could do these before I went and bought the small hook and yarn. I made 6 in no time with regular yarn and my J/10 hook... OMG, these would be adorable on a hat or scarf. I finally worked out what I was doing wrong :) You dont make it very clear that you stitch through the circle, not the chains!! But now that I have worked out my mistake, I have made my 1st tiny butterfly and look forward to making many more :) Thank you.xxx

i actually have a funny story about crocheting. in 4th grade i found my moms crochet hook and taught myself to crochet. i thought it was so cool so i brought it to school. then next thing you know, someone stole it from my desk! :( i was so scared my mom would get mad at me so i just never brought it up. i never crocheted again :( lol

(:(: and you are totally not stalking. lol. i usually get mine in the wedding section at my michaels.. you can also check in the cake decorating section.. they have them there too.. if you cant find them there maybe try michaels online and even ebay. ebay has it alll. lol. thanks for watching!

A little more complicated that your flower tutorial, but very worth the hard work, the final product is sooooo adorable!! for those ladies that are having a gard time with it, just keep at it, dint give up. ;0). Oops I think I just flagged this video as inappropiate OMG!! Sorry!!!!!!!

Thanks for sharing these. I am so addicted to making your other butterflies. I have been doing them during our 2 hour drive to our cottage. I am so going to be doing these teeny tiny ones.
I have just been knotting the longer stemins.

Thanks for sharing Tina, I followed along with the tutorials I grabbed whatever I had on hand. The hook I used was to big for the thread but considering the butterfly still came out cute....Now i need to get the antennas ...where do I get them?

i actually have a funny story about crocheting. in 4th grade i found my moms crochet hook and taught myself to crochet. i thought it was so cool so i brought it to school. then next thing you know, someone stole it from my desk! :( i was so scared my mom would get mad at me so i just never brought it up. i never crocheted again :( lol

Tina gurl, you are so stinkin' talented!!! Not only do you scrapbook but you crochet, too?! You ROCK!!! :-) I loooooooooooove these butterflies and I'm so lucky to get a few from you and I swear I might just end up hoarding them instead of using them cuz I love them so much... hehehe!!! j/k.
