Are there any light therapies that dont cause any hair loss on the face or head? Im a guy and i dont want to lose any facial hair or scalp hair while in the process.. any feedback would be great!
I have ordered your book and im really looking forward to reading it. Im currently using the zz cream but was concerned when i read that there might be steroids in it despite Demodex solution claims that there are not any steroids in it. Is the zz cream 100 per cent steroid free? Putting steroids on my face would be disastrous as i have steroid induced rosacea.
Im reading your book and its very informative. Im trying to figure out what LED to buy. Thinking about the Photon Beauty LED IR, is that good? What is best for Rosacea, red light or infra red? The link you have at the end of chapter 16, page 70 isnt working for me.
Obviously the light devices in a physician's office is going to be expensive. There are light devices available on the internet ranging from around $100 up. Read my chapter on light devices for links to these home light devices.
The Tanda sites only claim to help acne, but I'm wondering is there a site you know of where people with rosacea have done reviews on it? Also, I read in a magazine that they have actually recognized the cause... an excess of 2 different proteins that together create an enzyme that cause rosacea? I hope they find a cure since now they seem to know what the cause is. Great info on your videos about this. I have had rosacea for about 15 yrs now, and it's only getting worse!
It has also been hypothesised that rosacea is in fact a neurological disorder resulting from hypersensitization of sensory neurons by bradykinin following activation of the plasma kallikrein-kinin system due to exposure to intestinal bacteria in the digestive tract. This hypersensitivity then produces neurogenic inflammation upon dermal stimulation causing the flushing symptoms and vasodilation that are characteristic of the disorder.
Three. Originally I wrote the Rosacea Diet and The Diet. In Oct. 2007 I wrote Rosacea 101: Includes the Rosacea Diet, which is a comprehensive 373 page book that covers the conventional and alternative treatments for rosacea.
