yeah! the dog's name is Bimbo.. but I don't mind it.. i still want to watch it. i read it too.. i'm a grade 6 student. and it's in our reading book too.. but i'm really curious about it.. i can't understand the ending of the book.. :)
@prettylois18 The ending of the story, if you really think about it, isnt that hard to figure out. Remeber in the first part of the story Bimbo always brought food before Tito woke? Bimbo was going to get Tito food so he'd wake up and feel better and move on away from danger.
i read the story in 6th grade. i didnt understand the end at first. i thought it was sad how the dog was gone just like that though. and i knew the dog they found was bimbo but i didnt get why he had food, and the teacher didnt explain to me.
i searched it today 3 years later and now i know:
i feel sorry for all the people who died and the kids
there life's where so hard and having slaves to do your work and not being nice to them thats no right but what has happed but one day i would love to read this story to my kids
Louis Untermeyer's short story focused on a dog named Bimbo, true. In my film, however, I changed it to Zeus because of what that new term represents. I am glad you all have read this great story beforehand, so now I'm accepting that you all also understand what creative license is.
You know i actually haven't cried in 3-4 Years, but this story made me tear up...
I don't get why the dog had to die, he deserved to live.
I hope this story isn't true.

the boy was hungry.
