The Greenbrier is a classy classic resort. I've been there 9-10 times over the years. In years past, society's elite could travel there by auto, train, or air. The train stopped in front of the resort and the old airport was just a very short ways up the road across from one of the golf courses. Sam Snead was the golf pro at the Greenbrier.
