  • that is a male, very obvious

  • Hermaphrodites should NOT compete against women! They are men with a vagina!! They need thier own division. How would you like to be a professional woman runner... train day after day, year after year... and toe the line with someone who has 4X the testosterone you have?

  • @officerdepfife: it is not that easy.. if you create an own division for "hermaphrodites", where exactly do you draw the boundary? There will be doubtful cases again.. Gender is not an either-or-case, the boundaries are blurred btw. man/woman. Did you know that a transsexual, man operated to become a woman, is allowed to start at olympics 2 yrs after the hormone treatments were completed? So if you are a man and you become a woman by operation, with xy-chromosomes, you can start as a woman.

  • officerdefifie: but I get your point: We need to distinct btw. men and women in athlethics. All intersex athlethes compete in women athlethics, not in men's athlethics. I don't know a solution either. Yet: I am - female - much faster than my boyfriend and more enduring. I come from a very athlethic family and his folks are rather the brainy and charming type ;-). So sex alone is not a guarantee for great athlethic performance. Cool that he's man enough to accept my superiority, though! ;-)

  • @Mejuz You draw the boundary at "X" amount of testosterone levels or you cannot compete as a woman!! Just like a normal female athlete can go on steroids and have elevated levels. High levels of testosterone are unfair to the other women athletes!! Period!!

  • @officerdepfife: I think that, if it was that easy to make a fair distinction, the IAAF would have done it long ago. No need btw. to throw so many exclamation marks at me, I understand the unfair bit.. but I think your solution of a distinct hermaphrodite-group would never work in practice.

There was an article in Time Health (title: Is a female track star a man), showing the complexity quite well. Was written right after the Berlin controversy.

  • @Mejuz Didn't mean to exclamate you... sorry.. I used to coach female runners. They work extremely hard for their times. I also feel bad for Caster Sememya.. Bad situation all around. Other women are tested for testosterone levels and DQ'ed for elevated levels. But it's OK that she compete since it's not her fault? That it's a natural level? Why can't one of my male athletes compete in the women's 800? It's not his fault he were born male..I know that's an outrageous statement,

  • @Mejuz But for the other women on the track, it would be the same...

  • @officerdepfife: I know! gender controversy only hits female athletics, as the male characteristics up the performance. So controls are needed, true. I am not familiar in detail with IAAF-regulations, But Caster was tested on her T-levels, no?Is T not tested always? Hers was high, but still within range, I thought. Your point that she may have been admitted higher levels because it "is not her fault" Is new to me. sure? Is'nt there a limit for men, too, so as to stop artificial injections of T?

  • @Mejuz Yes...Normal Male Testosterone levels are 300 -1,200 ng/dL (nanograms per deciliter), Females are 30 - 95 ng/dL... Averages are toward the upper half for athletes (that's why they are good!)... It also varies with age. I do not know what the IAAF standards are, but it was reported that Caster's level was 3X the normal levels for females. I believe ALL athletes at that level are tested for test. levels... Remember Ben Johnson's 100 meter World Record over Carl Lewis? Steroids!!

  • @officerdepfife: Did not know there were such huge differences among male and female athletes in Testosterone levels, wow! But if Caster had 3 x the female average and still was given her medal back after the Berlin controversy - this means that her triple levels did not exceed IAAF-levels?! I think doping testing is much clearer than gender distinction, as they mentioned the cooperation of psychologists, endocrinologists, etc. in her case, so more than one criterion - eg. T., are considered.

  • @Mejuz It's just extremely unfair to the others athletes... i know i keep saying that. What if... Superman were a real character? Would he too be lumped in with all the rest the athletes? hahahahahahaha... I know i'm getting silly... (i bet he could run a .73 sec. for the 100 meters!)

  • @officerdepfife: I understand you getting silly, I really do! There is a Gary Larson Joke: a Mr. Miller on a quiz show against God and Einstein, and he states - Scores for Einstein 10 000 and for God 175 000 and for Miller 41, that he suspects his buzzer might not work properly.. that would be Superman and Caster against average athletes, right? :-)

But I also have to repeat my point: Why was Caster not disqualified? cause her levels were within legal limits. Why legal limits so high? cause.....

  • ..nature does not allow clear distinction btw. male and female in some odd cases..

you know that the south african officials were critizised: they should not have let Caster compete. No legal limits could stop her, but "freak cases" like hers are unfair on "regular" women & must be dealt with by the officials of each country "off record". Check the Atlanta Olympics, 1st gender testing: all 7 Athlethes found with XY Genotype starting as women had to be admitted to compete - against women..

  • @officerdepfife: leading to the conclusion: if you set the limit of Testosterone lower: will not the woman nearest to the limit be unfair to the other women with lower T-levels? And as my Boyfriend - a Man - with higher T-levels than me (I hope! ;-)), is slower than me in running and swimming. How could T alone make the difference? I am a girl, but faster than many a man.... It is not on Testosterone only, it is multifactorial! I agree it must be fair... but how?? Testosterone levels? Not only!

  • @Mejuz You are very correct!! Test. alone DOES NOT make a difference! Many Many things are attributed to good athletic preformance. Muscle composition, VO2 Max, Biomechanics, Genetics, the list goes on and on. Not everyone can be a good athlete! No one said the world was fair. But you get two comparable athletes, and add preformance inhancing drugs...EVERYTHING changes!.. And women should compete against WOMEN! Some have more advantages, but that's how it goes. But athletes that are half man?

  • @Mejuz And I completely understand your point! A woman with a "Y" chromozone IS so genetically different! I don't really know the answer. But a woman with internal testes? SOMETHINGS got to give! This goes beyond natural advantages vs. disadvantages. I feel the playing field for women is so much broader than that of males!! Difficult world we live in, huh? I bet even Superman would agree...lol

  • LET SHE HE RUN.IN 15 YEARS SHE'LL RETIRED. BUT UNTIL THEN PILE UP ON THE GOLD MEDALS AND STOP HOLDING BACK!

  • LADY BOY!

  • @MrHead1972 You should really broden your mind instead of name calling you big dummy!

  • Comment removed

  • No tits, male face, male voice, masculine body type = MALE!!!!

  • where is her BOOBS

  • Well my boyfriend carried her on his shoulders after the race and he said he didn't feel any penis.

  • HEY!!!! caster SEMENya!!!!! SEMEN IN YAH!!!! LOL

  • It's very ironic that she/he has Semen in her surname but it would be very weird if it was anywhere else.

  • Her need to vs man likes usain bolt because it is unfair if her vs girl.

  • She is a WOMAN! Open your eyes people and realise it! Sure her features are slightly more masculine than your average girl, but how could a champion runner under any circumstances be regarded as your average girl?its thank to the media leaking this crap out that has lead this woman to suffer public humiliation when what she truly deserves is praise! And it is because of the stereotypes of our society which have lead people to believe that what Caster was capable of doing is physically impossible

  • thats a gay man

  • she looks like a man,

  • Yes I agree, if you've got a vagina that should be good enough. i would like to see her wearing proper running knickers like the other girls though. That would show if she had a penis

  • Yes I agree, if you've got a vagina that should be good enough. i would like to see her wearing proper running knickers like the other girls though.

  • NEWS FLASH: Not all women are prissy little princesses! I wonder why the concept of a woman being more masculine than average is such a mind-boggling concept for some people. If she identifies as a female, she is a female. Case closed!

  • checkers1245@ i dont see how we south africans are cheaters..Why dont you explain to me how this is..but i know people like you never get anywhere in life and that is why you spend your time disrespecting others because they dont meet your stander..but is okay because they officials know who SHE is and just keep this in mind...YOUNG athletes are taking over everything..and HATERS like you will just stay at home and hate...

  • Caster Semenya is a fucking man and should be competing with other men.

  • okay i imagine that there is a pretty damn easy way to tell if it's a woman or not. Just look in the pants...if there is a dick than its a guy...its simple shit

  • rarrtedddd thats a mannnnnnn lol wiv a pussay wtf

  • @MrSPORTnSTUFF what th fuck is wrong with u

  • Caster is a man and shame on South Africa for passing him off as a woman and allowing him to race against women. All women runners should boycott any race this man enters.

  • @checkers1245 its funny because we down here dont look at it that way... she was born a girl and been running all this time...its funny cause only time people make it a big problem on how she looks is after she beats everyone..dont call her a man just because everyone (athletes that lost to her are saying shes a man) try to go with what the experts are saying about this...Dont make yourself look stupid by saying things that you yourself is unsure of.

  • @mandela195

No what is funny is that they let this MAN compete against Women. Until they have races for freaks like her, IT shouldn't be allowed to compete unless IT wants to compete against other men. That would make things fair. IT is and will never be a woman. But of course we know that South Africans are a bunch of cheaters anyway. That is a country without morals. So we shouldn't expect anything more out of you.

  • she needs to start taking some hormones...

  • The person who comes in second is the second human being and 1st female to cross the line I think.

  • @wildhippy thats just unfiar just coz she won

  • on 0:49 she looks like a woman to me,

I personally sure this is a female, I feel sorry for her :(

  • HE/SHE'S GOT A vOICE OF A MAN !!! LOOOL AND A MOSTACHE ITS A MALLLLLLLE LOOOOL SERIOUS!!

  • You cannot get upset that officials want to know for sure whether or not if this is a man or woman. Now if they come back with results that its a he and not a she. Then what? You still want this person to race with the women, all because that is how they have been raised? Please. Hell if that's the case I can make a case that I've been raised that way, and join the WNBA scoring 60pts a night. Da hell outta here. If its a dude then they need to ban this person racing with women. Period.

  • So she was born with a good deal of male physical/bilogical characteristics, through no fault of her own. How far out were the testosterone/estrogen levels? Hematocrit? Is she taking supplements to get her back to legal levels? Or is the IAAF/IOC just going to let her compete as is?

  • He's a woman.

  • shes not a man.leave her be!that she was born with an intersex condition is not her fault.she clearly believes shes female, and identifies as such.what she probably needs is an operation, not ridicule.

  • She is a he!!

  • it's got a freakin 6 pack!!!

  • i dont know wht they talking about i look at her and she l;ooks a woman gosh ppl or sooo dumb

  • she spend so much time and trained so hard to be a professional. Now everybody's talking like she has a disease and all the efford she put in her sport is suddenly gone. I'm sorry but she's just human like everyone of us. If she feels like a woman, just accept it.

  • @0138004357 Well, it's not fair if she has excessive testosterone in her system. This is stupid to say it's ok, it's definitely not ok for the women competing against her.

  • Not the same thing, Grant. There's no upper limit for male athletes.

And also there's no gender issue at all with male athletes. The rules were set in place so that there can be races for women, too, which is a good thing, don't you think? I like women's racing.

  • Relax, the IAAF just needs to know if her intersex condition makes it more best for her to run the woman's 800 or the man's. We don't have to decide if she's a woman or a man, (she's neither/both), for any other purpose than for racing. Everyone is freaking out, calm down. If she wants to race women we have to figure out if that's fair to the other women racing. If her condition makes her "man" enough to win every race against woman, it's not fair to the other girls in the race.

  • Sinec the beginning of time people have always criticize the things they don't understand, and for that matter Jesus Christ was crucified. will you do the same to Semenya? will you do the same to HER?

  • leave her alone!

imagine if you were a girl and you won and people were calling you a man!

  • @ReadySetGoClo

There once was a woman named Doris

who often tripped on her clitoris,

    the boys only snicker,

the girls wanted to lick her,

so she quickly changed her name to Morris.

  • STATISTICS CALCULATION - from

    BR-0 com/olympics htm

  • Caster is a dude and probably has a dick larger than Shaq! South Africa are a bunch of cheaters.

  • Comment removed

  • What matters is which race is appropriate for her. If her intersex condition makes it unfair for her to race against women, then she should run with the men or find something else to do. Then we'll all leave her alone. No one is forcing her to fit any catagory or do anything outside of the very narrow question of which 800M race is best for her to run in.

  • ding ding ding!!!

  • lol it shudnt be common for them to train and not get a period. females with xy is very rare not common at all! Everyone knows caster is talented.. Its just not fair to the other females because Semenya's testosterone levels are way too high. Just like if the tested a man who was in the olympics and found he had a testosterone level that was off the charts, it wouldnt be fair to the other male athletes.. its unfortunate but sports wants a clear definition when it comes to competition

  • @cavitycraz Thats what matters but, its not very fair for the other athletes that race with this person. Caster should race with mans.

  • a male in a female competition is unfair, don't you think? caster is both so logically caster would be physically better than a woman but maybe less than a man.

high school boys are able to run female olympic times.

  • @cavitycraz

not if its a man competing against women. or women competing against men. now it we didn't have gender divisions in sports, your point wouldnt be null and void

  • @cavitycraz

agree...but doesnt that interfere with her competing in a "female event"?

  • @mlking213 not at all. she was born a girl, so she is a woman. The same thing happens with men, some men are just born more "manly" then other men... more talented. She was born with more natural talent.. just a fact. She is a female.

  • @marmar3291

they are saying she is literally more man..meaning genetically.

Not the same as she is pure woman..."internalized testicles" is not a pure female..not having ovaries are not a female.

  • @mlking213 Fair enough. Sounds like the complaints people have are just. But what happens to people like her? Banned from the sport? I'm not opposed to the idea if she really has that much of an advantage.

  • Comment removed

  • @cavitycraz gender isnt a spectrum, at all,it is an absolute xx and xy, it is affected by different conditions and most actually do fit in to dose ends that why hermaphrodites are rare.

  • @cavitycraz

The reason people are worried is because her having a much higher level of testosterone than the other female runners gives her an unfair high advantage. Dumbass.

  • And also just listen to Caster's voice.

  • Caster's voice is deeper than most men I know. He probably taped his dick down so no one would notice. Caster is a man! South Africa cheated and should never be allowed to participate in anymore games.

  • lol

  • i know what to do. we can have the freak show games open to gays, bi 's, herms. aliens, legless , sex change and your general freak. they can all compete togethar on the same platfrom. what a show it would be. come on go for it.

  • im turned on too!

  • I wonder what we'd all be saying if she was to go compete with the males...

My question is, couldnt the olympic officials devise some rule that if a person has a testosterone level past a certain range, they'd compete with the females? Or likewise, that if they had estrogen (?) levels past a certain range they'd compete as females? Since yes, sometimes it cant always be so black and white and just because she is a hermaphrodite doesnt mean she cant be placed in a category.

  • excellent comment

  • dam its not hard jus pull her pants down in see if she have a dick or not

actin lik its dat hard 2 fiind out if shes a man or not

    cuz im cirius

  • and u also b a fukin jeeny-yus

  • ifu don't get it , itno abut having dicks, dick won't be a dick if ts ot useful, you know?thre are other factos running your body as aan, or woman, its obvios she has soethng down there, but it desn't matteine its prooved to e a aplicble dick ok?

  • she has a vagina so she is practically female. just give her some estrogen shots and she'll be fine.

  • uhm.. it's a bit more complex than that, I'm afraid.. But glad that you're not just shouting "she's a man!" with most others ;-)

Whatever she is: Somebody should have cared about how she feels being in the middle of this controversy before... After all, SA-sports officials were likely to know that this was gonna happen..

  • if she has a vagina,.does she have a boy friend?

  • When bserving images of Semenya running and talking we can see both female and male

criteria which has also been confirmed by the leaks from the gender tests. Running now at 1:55, age 18, improved from 2:08 in the last year could give less than 1:50 in some years of hard training. Semenya would reach around the middle between the male (1:41) and female (1:53) world records. Sadly for her there is no cathegory where she could compete sucessfully while being fair to the other contestants.

  • This is such a stupid thing, the media made such a big splash about this. But in South Africa a 5 year old black girl get raped by her black uncle, but it did not even make head line news. Double standards South African government and the world media.

  • So true. This is all just sensationalism so people can have a seedy little sneer and piss take at a person who might not do as well as she could professionally because her natural genetics cant be categorised satisfactorily by the rest of the world. Most dont even care if she wins or loses, they just want a free jeer. Women and girls are raped and abused so commonly in SA, and its hardly seen as a crime at all. Its pointless telling the police there. Truly important stories never matter to most.

  • Her parents didn;t know.

She was born with a vagina people. So I don't think her and her family knew. Yes they might have suspected something was wrong but when you have a vagina....You are considered a girl.

  • I really don' care that not important!! The worl is going down because people don't care important issue but really care stupid things.

  • @gemini850 That is an ignorant statement. Hermaphrodites have vaginas...too. The intersex are varying. You are wrong.

  • @gemini850 she has both male and female reproductive organs.

  • @footielocker OMG how do you know that? although it's clean that there's more than just a vajayjay down there. Maybe she's just a manly girl with a large vajayjay lol.

  • wow you people are idiots

  • Don't feel sorry for just Caster, how about all the other 100% women that have trained for years getting to where they are and now they are sidetracked in the biggest race of the year by this mess. How about feeling sorry for them.

  • that she is only 18 is harder to believe that she is a woman she looks like a 30 year old

  • Many female athletes do not menstruate, and the only thing wrong is the humiliation she must undergo because she was born without ovaries yet raised as a woman. We all begin as female, in Semenya's case however something occurred during gestation to stop the process of her becoming male, and how is this her fault? They would not let her compete with the men either, so what was she supposed to do?

  • I agree it is not her fault how she's born. But her chromosomal or/and hormonal condition is probably closer to masculine than to feminine. That is why it is unfair if she competes against women who do not have this natural "advantage". In athletics, there are regulations to make sure that women compete against women and men compete against men - biologically, not genitally speaking. It's about fairness. Otherwise there would be no female world records, just "intersexual" and male records.

  • FUK STAR PLUS!

  • Is there an award for the most humiliated person in the world? If so, then I think she deserves it. Thanks to the IAAF and the media, especially the Australian media. Now I can clearly see that they value money higher than human dignity.

She loved athletics from a young age. However the federation that was supposed to fulfill her dreams is the same one that is busy destroying her.

  • No, her coach is at fault. Do you honestly believe that they didn't know??? Her parents knew, they even admitted it. Just because you continue to raise her as a woman, doesn't mean her body is 100% biologically a woman.

The coaches should have taken care of this before they even allowed her to run. I am baffled how she wins the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP in RECORD TIME and everyone thinks its the IAAF's fault for exposing her. Give me a break.

  • HMMMM , to do this takes alot of balls !!!!!!!

  • She is a girl regardless of the way she was born i say she should be allowed to compete like every other girl. Being born intersex is just like being born hermaphodite. And i play sports with the boys regardless of me also having female organs

  • and thats different cuz that wouldn't give u an unfair adavantage since biologically girls are less athletic than boys. it's just evolution. like the most obvious example and proof of this is the NBA vs. WNBA. pretty much EVERY nba player can dunk and yet probably less than half of the wnba can.

  • i agree with you...so true

  • I feel for Caster, being that this his private life is all over the internet now. But as a women, it didn't cross my mind that, a girl gets her first menstrual cycle around 13? 14 at the latest? If an 18 yr. old girl is not menstruating, there must be something wrong. If everybody knew this, Why to let her run?

  • Don't be so ignorant. Many athletes, especially runners and gymnasts, do not have enough body fat to menstruate. It's called amenorrhea and it's fairly common.

  • yeah, and that happened to me for a while back when i was in shape and worked out hella but she NEVER even started her period because she doesn't have a freakin uterus or ovaries! so this should be kind of reason enough for "her" to NOT be allowed to compete with the other women.

  • i think that make no sense i was born like her and are you telling me i cannot compete as a man because i also have female organs.. We as a word is so sad because a child is born different we cannot compete like a regular born child is very closed minded

  • Sorry dude, i didn't mean it out of hate. Just, in this case, caster has an unfair advantage because she's automatically more athletic and should maybe compete with the men instead. idk.

  • I'd like to point out this person has never had a menstural period in 18 years of life because she has no uterus. Clearly her family and coach knew this. Combine that fact with her obvious physical appearence and everyone must have known something was different. They hid it. There is no other way to see this.

  • What you are all failing to realize is that no other females will compete against he/she. Game over man! You're Fired!

  • The problem is that she is perhaps 30% stronger then a normal girl...If IAAF permit her to continue to run freely among normal girls, many countries will now start to open a new class of scouting in order to win medals on the world scene: the search for hermaphrodites, a new class of super girls! That's the beginning of super gene scouting...Wait and see !

  • At least she has natural hormones, most of them inject steroids then clean up just in time to compete.

  • i think see did a good job. She doesn't know what she is but she's lived as a woman, trained as a woman. She sound like a man but looks like a woman. Its not her fault. I'm pretty sure she would beat the men too. Then they'll disqualify her for being a woman, right?

  • this he/she is disgusting, my ass she is a girl

  • With the speed she's been running at she wouldn't even qualify for the men's junior competions, she's way too slow to compete with the men. But she would not be disqualified, the male competions are actually not all male, but an open class where women are allowed to compete. Only they don't, because they don't stand a chance there.

  • shes hideous...but its a she..and can run like a mofo.

  • competition and pettiness are not the same thing but they go hand in hand with each other. this is just a case of sore losers looking for a loophole in athletic regulations to bust their rivals since they cannot do it on a level playing field. in the future they will probably cry foul over basketball players who are over seven feet tall and boxers who have thicker skulls.

  • If she had no ovaries and uterus, she wasn't having her period. I believe she knew something was wrong with her.

  • people...leaver her alone..

    or him whatever,

  • I wonder if the other "females" in the race were tested would they all meet the female standard. It strikes me that Semenya has lived her life as a woman and is now (possibly) found not to be female. I wonder is there a difference in definition of women and female!! She came by her sex honestly (through birth) and not by surgery or drugs. She is innocent. I wonder if similar rules apply to men. I wonder if any of the other female runners were infertile are they female?

  • Are we supposed to believe that a 18 year old "girl", on top of that, being an athlete with medical staff, first, never went to a gynecologist, second, specially to figure out what was wrong with her lack of period?!?! he knew he was a dude or at least that something was wrong with him, the rest is BS.

  • i heard about this dude/chick thourgh the craftnation. so duz anyone no for sure wat he/she is? cuz i wonder...

  • People say its difficult to discern but for me a male because of these facts, now these are truths that are proven, he has testicles (on the inside) he has no ovaries or womb, he has 3 times the level of testosterone than women which means increases muscle mass exponentially in comparison to women. It is a topic of debate for some people (not me tho) who are afraid of political correctness and want someone else to make the decision and suffer the consequences and from a scientific point of view.

  • I CAN SEE HIS PENIS WHEN HE RUNS FAST,,

how come IT doesnt run wearing a bikini like the GIRLS, is it cus IT doenst want a nut to pop out when IT goes in high gear???!!!

  • can't wait till they strip this dude of his metals...his coach looks as shaddy as they come no doubt he knew about this..

  • Runner reported to have internal male sex organs

    from AP news

  • XDDD. That's a fucking dude man.

  • every person they showed was ugly....maybe shes not lying.

  • Wait a minute!

Has anybody ever seen Jamie Fox and Caster Semenya in the same room? That's it; mystery solved.

    Caster Semenya is Jamie Foxx!!!!

  • 70% man and 30% woman. even dont ave boob, no ovarios...

  • @rymicka

All over the world, if you are a woman and you have never had your period, you know something is wrong^^ (even though it does not necessarily mean you have balls lmao)

  • SEMENya!!

  • I am just so sorry for her. I think we can't imagine the shit she's going through

  • hermaphrodite

  • wow they are now calling her/him Caster Semen

  • oh i thought you were gonna pull a funny by saying "wow they are now calling her/him caster semen...ya shes a dude" dang maybe next time you just cant find original comedic writing on youtube anymore.. what has this place gone to.. :(

  • perhaps you can amaze the internet world with your untapped talents???

  • she has a vagina! she is a women (technically hermaphrodite). The only difference is that instead of ovaries she has internal testes that produce excess testosterone (still not even close to as much as a male though)

  • hermaphrodite is an insulting and rather inaccurate term. Intersex is the right and correct term for her condition. :) I'm so glad she's sure of herself and sad that people are being retarded about this whole thing.

  • Caster Semenya is a HERMAPHRODITE! That is NOT female. He/She/It should be stripped of His/Her/Its medal.

    What a fraud!

  • obvious trolling is obvious, BarkingBobby. tsk tsk! :P

regardless of her sex or chomosome condition, she's always seen her gender as "woman" so she IS a woman. tests or not. :)

  • Comment removed

  • Yes she "INTERSEX" but she did do it ON PURPOSE it is a GENETICAL MALFORMATION and just genetical tests will show more. And it all happed because medical care is in Africa where she was born on a very bad level so that´s why there is a great possibility that she didn´t know about her condition absolutely nothing.

  • OK, assuming she/he/it knew nothing....

The win is invalidated and she/he/it should not be allowed to compete as a "female". That's not fair to all the female athletes who work hard but don't have a set of testicals.

  • Just like the few basketball players over seven feet tall should be disqualified.

Just like swimmers with extra large lung capacity should be disqualified.

Just like boxers with thicker skulls should be disqualified.

She was born with more testosterone than other women, she didn't cheat or use drugs.

Why are you so concerned with gender, are you scared?

  • Castor is all male except for the penis. Should men with very very tiny penis which looks like a clit and long hair be allow to run as a women. If Castor wants to run , then Castor needs to compete with other men.

  • Its obvious its a man. I am tired of all the political correctness. Bottom line, its a disgrace to all women runners who trained to compete and then they just let a man come in there and win. Why don't I enter a dog show dressed as a poodle and claim I am a dog, then when someone says "your obviously wearing a costume" I will cry about unfair discrimination. Talk about ignoring the elephant in the room syndrome.

  • She has both man and woman part. Is not her fault. Is unfair for you to call her a man. Is her right to choice the gender she feels most comfortable with. Don't you think is unfair that the media has put her business out here. There alost of children who are born intersex. about 40 percent of children born are intersex. Life is hard being a woman. Be sensitive

  • There you go with your political correctness. That is why society is so fucked up because people like you who have no standards. Like I said...let me dress up as a poodle and enter a dog show, then ask you to be "sensitive:" Where did you get that bullshit "40% of children born are intersex" what is your source? Go kil yourself!

  • i learn it from college. Psy: Human sexuality. Go to the psychology journal today. you will find out if you dont believe.

  • you must be going to some brainwash class at a community college. I work in the medical field and took human anatomy and biology classes, and never once read of such nonsense. We are getting off topic. Bottom line is its a MAN. so if that is the case let me put on a dog suit and enter Guiness World Records as the worlds smartest dog because i can understand over a million commands and can drive a car and bathe myself...see how absurd your logic is once you put it in perspective.

  • agenthelios, the percentage may be wrong, but there are a lot of intersex people.

  • If you don't understand the difference between a man and a hermaphrodite, you clearly got a piss poor education in your so called "medical field".

  • seriously 40%of children are born intersex, where is your source

  • Lets go your way then lets have cross gender races, lets have disabled or handicapable people in the same race as someone with both of their legs now this is your way of thinking, we are always going to seperate ourselves from which town we come from which country we come from and sex and so on, even women dont think themselves to be the same as men hence the term women are from venus men are from mars, you do not have anything intellegent to put into this conversation so why bother.

  • Currently, though, there isn't any separate thing for transgender athletes to do.

  • Yeah most certainly, now we've created medical operations/procedures (sex change operations) to help with these particular problems if viewed that way, espescially with caster, apparently it could cause serious damage to his body if it continues but also like the special olympics create something for this group of people i mean cricket is now played as an olympic sport how daft is that? Create the HERMAPHRODITE 800mt RACE and things along those lines.

  • did not

  • Comment removed

  • Oh my God. You sound ridiculous. Hermaphrodites are not born because of a bad level of medical care. WTF!!!!!!!!!!! She is not dumb. She is fully aware of herself. She has also stressed that she is comfortable with who she is. It is everyone else who has a problem due to IGNORANCE. You must be American.

  • LANORDA9 i know you are trying to defend her but have you read te news lately about this semenya? They said she has both male and female organs and therefore not allowed to join a competition. Its on the news now.

  • That is discrimination she was raised as a women and her parents chose what she would be. God or nature made her the way that she is. Caster was was not giving the choice to find out which sex was more dominate. she did not make that chose herself. She deserves that medal and if there is no hermaphrodite sports the person should be able to compete in the sport of the gender they were raised. Bless her she doesn't deserve this she should sue the men that did this to her.

  • She got the medal and well deserved it. She did not cheat. Its BS to call her male, she is intersexed up to some level, but not male. If she would remove the testciles and take female hormon
