Wing Commander 3: Alternate ending cinematics

As Blair is the typical anti-hero to me, i think the loner ending is the only one that gives the suitable closure to the story. Just let him ride into the sunset alone.

You know, I always went with "neither" as my option here, because A, a carrier group's CAG consorting with one of his pilots or his senior tech in the middle of a massive, genocidal war is more than a bit absurd, to say nothing of "disruptive," and B, the solo ending just felt RIGHT somehow. After 35 horrible years of total war, and Blair knowing nothing but death his entire life, him just quietly watching serene, beautiful Earth approach below, and contentedly sighing seemed perfect somehow.

I like the ending when you reject Flint and Rachel he flies at the end with Flash and makes out with him. It`s so totally gay.

I tended to side with Flint, but in the end i opted to choose neither girl.

I just couldn't stand breaking either's heart. I'm a lone-wolf. Meant for Panther in WC4 :P

i heard that in the novel of WC3 blair hooked up with rachel but their marriage didn't last long though

Blair did marry Rachel in the book, but you're correct in saying that the marriage did not last long.

Does Wing Commander Prophecy establish whether Blair married Rachel? I don't recall seeing them in a scene together in that game or my memory is just hazy.

Prophecy may have a novelization like WC3 did, so I honestly don't know if the novel filled in any blanks that the movies from the game don't.

Prophecy never got a novelization IIRC. Which is particularly strange because the Nephilim are hinted at throughout many of the novels including Heart of the Tiger.
