  • Could you show some examples where you used this beautiful style? Thank you.

  • @fiddlegrandmom Sure.. If you visit my blog posting on Mexican Pleating by MissPrettyPerfect, you will see 2 handbags that feature this fabric. I recently edited my original post to include them, since you asked :) And thank you for asking!

  • If anyone has tried this technique and can share it, please do! I'd love to see your work.

  • @xsculpturex Oh, that's fabulous!

  • oh wow! what a superb and interesting technique..very easy! I would surely want to try this for my top

  • @girlcookart Go for it girly! You'll be so impressed with yourself.

  • Can you do this with any fabric? What can you do with the final result? You have several pieces in the end....what did you do with them? Or what would you do with them? I'd like to make a dress or top!

Thanks for the tutorial! Very cool :)

  • @madammorgo I would only attempt to do this technique on light-weight to medium-weight fabrics. I'd probably go as far as to try it on something interesting, like leather. I used the pieces as patchwork pieces for my handbags. Visit my shop to see them under the "Sold" category. You could definitely make a dress or top! That would be very cool :)

  • @LaFlacs My pleasure.. really :D

  • Wonderful! The music adds a fun touch, too. Perhaps include something you've made with the pleated fabric? I guess I'm not imaginative enough to think of what to use it for. ;-)

  • @schisandra @schisandra lol, you're too cute :0) I featured it in Miss Lotti Oversized Tote. If you visit my etsy shop, you'll see it. Sorry, but it won't let me post the link :(
