@SamWiseGingy Most of the people who listen to this don't believe in God because someone convinced them, or because they had a subjective emotional experience, but because they had an encounter with the power of God and saw or experienced something completely impossible happen. Regis305 claims to have had scoliosis but no longer has it. While at a prayer meeting/bible study a rain storm sprung up suddenly. The Lord spoke to me and told me to rebuke the rain. I did and it immediately stopped.

There have been times when I met someone for the first time and they gave me accurate detailed descriptions of my life about things that I had never spoken to anyone about. Then there was the time I had a vision of a tropical storm hitting panama city beach, where I even saw down to it's name and when it would come. It all happened exactly as I saw it ahead of time. (tropical storm claudette 2009)

As for receiving healing, that's something that is debated. Simply put, it requires great faith.

I went to IHOP in Kansas City when they first started out in a trailer. Misty Edwards always gave me really dirty glares. I don't know why. She NEVER said 'hi' to me either - just gave me dirty looks. It could be because of all the slander and gossip that is prevalent within IHOP. People just make up garbage about you there, and it gets completely out of control and spreads like a trojan virus.

I was there, and the enthusiasm was no different than what I've seen when I've gone to Red Sox games, or rock concerts. A group of people gathered together who are excited about what they believe doesn't constitute a cult. I recommend you take a look at large secular gatherings in sports, music, and politics. People are always worshiping and being ritualistic about something. The real question is, do you even know what you are worshiping? Because most people don't.

I can almost see why you would think it was a cult because one thing that video cannot catch is that the Spirit of God was moving there. You can't sense His presence; you can only see that ppl are doing something you don't understand.

The Bible says in Romans 10:17 that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. So how else are you going to have the faith to believe unless you keep hearing what God says about your problem? Because we may read something once or twice in the Bible and say that we believe that it's true but when everything around you including your own body is telling you differently you don't REALLY believe it.
The good news though is that the same way you got in you can get out. All you have to do is change what your being indoctrinated by. Once you quit listening to what everyone else is saying about your problem and you begin to only listen to what God says about it that's the first step. You then take the Word and you get the scriptures that pertain to the need that you have and you begin to confess them with your mouth over and over again every day.
It happens to everyone and this process of indoctrination is what Satan uses to get people held into believing a certain way. That's why it's especially important who your being taught by in the church you go to because if that man or woman is teaching something that's not lining up perfectly with the Word of God they can get you really out of balance with truth. And that's what Satan wants is to keep people from getting healed and from getting set free and from getting out of bondage.
That's why it's so important that you guard yourself from what you look upon and what you listen to and that you begin to judge the character of the people your spending your time around. Because whatever your soul is coming in contact with is what it's trying to become more like. You can get recognize this pretty easily in young people in how they begin to change when they start hanging around a different crowd of people. The way they talk and dress and act and the things they do.
So when it comes time that your looking for a healing or a deliverance from something you've been struggling with or just anything that God's word says you can have then what is it that's stopping you from getting it? Have you not been going through an indoctrination process your whole life by what you've seen happen to other people in the same situation and what you see them saying about it in the media and what the doctors tell you and what your family is telling you?
Another example would be when you take an English speaking American and drop them out in the middle of a tribe in Africa that doesn't speak a bit of English. Even though he doesn't speak their language and he's never had to survive out in the wild he'll still begin to adapt to the surroundings he's being subjected to. After a while he'll begin to learn parts of their language by listening and watching and he'll learn how to hunt and how to dress and how to act all by seeing and hearing.
Have you ever seen a little boy how he wants to try and be just like his daddy and so he'll try and dress like him and walk like him and talk like him because his daddy is what he's looking to as the way things should be. Your soul operates on that same level. It tries to become whatever your subjecting it to. Whatever your looking to as the way things should be.
It began as a process by their granddaddies and their daddies and their grandmothers and their mothers and as they grew up seeing things and hearing things from everyone around them and everywhere they went it caused them to believe how things should be. They became indoctrinated by this way of thinking. And see your soul is made up of your mind, your will, your intellect, and your emotions and it operates with the power to transform you to whatever you willfully subject it to the most.
Ya know it wasn't that long ago that a large portion of the white people in America literally hated black people and they didn't want to have anything to do with them because they didn't feel they were as good as them. And we all know the cost that it took to begin to change those things in America. But if you later went and asked some of these people why they hated them you'd find a lot of them hadn't even hardly ever met a black person if at all. So why did they hate them so much?
A lot of the time the way we believe is based on whatever area of the World that we were born into and grew up in. If you were born in an oriental culture you believe a certain about things. If you were born in the Middle East you believe a certain way. And if you were born into the Western culture you believe a certain way. And you have all these different beliefs about just everything because it was process of things you saw and heard and were taught throughout your life.
And now I come back around to where I started with the confessing of the word again and again over your situation and your life. You see what people don't seem to recognize is that everything about us is a product of the indoctrination that we've had throughout our life. And what that means is that our thought processes work based on the things that we've seen and that we've heard and that we've been taught over and over again and again.
We limit God because of our own unbelief. The only thing stopping us from having everything that He promised us is that lack of faith in you and me. The only thing that's stopping us from walking in the same power and authority and doing the same miracles that Jesus did is our lack of faith because Jesus said even greater things you will do than me because I go to be with the Father. We limit God in every area of our life because we focus our belief on what we see instead of what He said.
See where your hung up is with thinking that God has to make a choice on whether or not He does this thing for you. Many churches teach that God decides when He wants to heal and when He doesn't and He'll heal you if it's His will to do so. But nothing about that is scriptural. You have to throw out half of the New Testament just to believe that. But yet they still teach this because they can't understand why sometimes people get healed and why sometimes they don't.
The problem lies in the fact that God demands faith. It says without faith it is impossible to please God. He also said you will receive whatsoever you have the faith to believe for. So where's the problem coming in that people can't get what they're praying for and what it seems like sometimes God answers and sometimes He doesn't? The problem lies in you and your lack of faith that Jesus ALREADY DID what your asking Him to do for you.
So if it's God's will for every person to be healed since it says by His stripes we ARE healed. And if it's God's will that all our finances are met in abundance since Jesus was made poor that we might become rich. And if it's God's will that we all have long life and fulfill the calls that every one of us has upon our lives. And if it's God's will that we be completely free from sin. Then why are Christians sick, poor, dieing and living a life of sin? Is the problem God or is the problem you?
So what's the problem here? Is it like you said God hears but just doesn't always answer? I mean He just sent His only Son to go through horrible persecution and an unimaginable death.
The Jews who lived by the Old Testament law and were what you would look to as being the religious church goers during that time were the ones that denied Jesus and went before Pilate angry and screaming that He be crucified because of claiming to be the Son of God.
He won't cast ou demons!!! Jesus says if i came in the name of belezebub then why would i cast out these demons who go by him. Or words to those effects. Would Jesus defend himself with this if Satan can/would kick out demons?

That dosen't suprise me that thier are fakers, i in know way claimed that all healings are sincere. However I am inclined to believe they can happen due to my own healing. I suffered with acid reflux for a long time, doctors were concerned about me doing damage to my oesophagus, i was on some medication as perscriped. And the guy at the front of the Church called this out, he prayed for me and the refulx stopped. Now I am aware of the following; calling out acid reflux in a church of 50 is....
I just said I was aware of it psycomotive etc. but the damage done to my oesophagus is no longer there which means it has healed which had never happened before it was all ways in a state of semi-repair, this was shown last time i had the camera down my throat. Most hypnotic cures are shown to be tempoary this was shown hugely with placebo surgery etc, so from the papers i have read i would say that most placebo's are temporary. I found it hard to imagine that my mind could lose the pain iwas in
of course maybe the mind is that powerful. But the thing is why won't my mind heal my migrains? And will it when someone at the front call's it out? And to be honest I wouldn't care wether it was God or my mind that got rid of them!! What about stigmata's? I'll tell you why I am here, shall I? For the benefit of people watching the exchange. To counter the brainwashing of christianity. To promote reason and freedom. As for reason, one very large failure in the "church" today is the belief that Christians don't have to think. However, if you have read the New Testament, you know this to be untrue.
Peter, for example, was an "unlearned" man, but the Spirit gave him the ability to speak (not only in his own language but in others). God did not call him to be stupid or ignorant, and He does not call people to be stupid or ignorant today.
As to freedom, anyone in sin is a slave to sin. I know this to be true b/c I have known the bondage of sin in my own life. The only true freedom is becoming a servant to a Master who views you as His child.

Christianity and the Bible are things I understand very well and I think it's honest and appropriate to let people know why. Do you think that when one is open minded that means to only partly believe what you know to be the truth? It's not a wall, it's knowledge. Do you act like maybe the Bible is not true> Of course not; you have "a wall built up" against the notion that it's an unreliable book.
Many witchcrafts claim to have dead being rasied. The antichrist will rise from the dead!!! READ REVELATIONS!!! Many people believe some of the demons from reveltations are the creation or mutilation at the hand's of SAtan espically the locust things!!
But as you said, these healings that you followed up on are supposedly all due to people saying they were sick and got healed even though they were never sick or they simply got healed by other means than God. Well once again, any good thing that God ever does satan is always going to be out there trying to pollute it for his benefit. Satan takes great pleasure in trying to make a mockery of the things of God and in most cases he succeeds because people are lacking in the teaching department.
And the second thing that you need to know is that there are a whole lot of people that get healed and then later lose their healing because they didn't continue to stand in faith. When God heals and someone is in a church service or out on the street or wherever their at when the power of God hits and the anointing is there and you get your healing, the very second you walk out those doors at the church after the service the devil is going to be there trying to convince you that it was a lie.
He will come at you with uncaptivated thoughts and fear and worry and he will work on you until he convinces you that it was all fake and it wasn't real and that if you did get healed it's only because of something else you did and that it wasn't God. And if he can get you to believe that then you will open the door for that thing you just got healed from to come right back upon you. God demands a certain measure of faith on your part.
When a person gets their healing they're to then go and continue to confess what the Word of God says over that thing they just got delivered from. They need to get out their Bible and start thanking God for their healing over and over every day and confessing that by the stripes of Jesus I am healed. Because if you do not then satan will deceive you in your mind because after a while you'll start to think well maybe God didn't really do it.
And if you give him any foot hold at all that thing will start to creep back upon you and you'll get into worry and fear and once that happens you'll lose that healing you were trying to hold on to. Because satan absolutely hates you more than anything and he is not going to sit idlely by and let great things of God take place without coming in and trying to stop it. And the only thing that he listens to is the word of God and that's why you have to confess what the word says over and over.
Your not moving God in confessing what the Word says over your situation, your moving yourself. Your turning your thoughts and your emotions and your lining them up with the Word of God. It's already God's perfect will that every person that believes on Him to be walking in perfect health, God's just waiting on you to get to where you can believe enough to receive. The Bible says as a man thinketh so is he. It also says to speak thou to the mountain that it be removed.
RobyPreachTimothy, the law of sin and death which was the law in the Old Testament was defeated when Christ died upon the cross. Sin can no longer cause a separation between you and God because sin no longer has any dominion over you. In the Old Testament they made sacrifices of animals but it was never enough to fully cover those sins and the sacrifices being made each year constantly brought remembrance to those sins being committed.
When they were still under the law sin had authority over them and no matter how hard they tried not to sin they could NOT stop themselves from sinning.
Romans 7:5-6 For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions which were aroused by the law were at work in our members to bear fruit to death.
But now we have been delivered from the law, having died to what we were held by, so that we should serve in the newness of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the letter.

@SamWiseGingy Most of the people who listen to this don't believe in God because someone convinced them, or because they had a subjective emotional experience, but because they had an encounter with the power of God and saw or experienced something completely impossible happen. Regis305 claims to have had scoliosis but no longer has it. While at a prayer meeting/bible study a rain storm sprung up suddenly. The Lord spoke to me and told me to rebuke the rain. I did and it immediately stopped.

There have been times when I met someone for the first time and they gave me accurate detailed descriptions of my life about things that I had never spoken to anyone about. Then there was the time I had a vision of a tropical storm hitting panama city beach, where I even saw down to it's name and when it would come. It all happened exactly as I saw it ahead of time. (tropical storm claudette 2009)

BTW, endorphins don't cure scoliosis. And as for amputees, yes, they have been healed. I haven't seen it personally, but I haver heard of accounts (granted, word of mouth).
I've watched someone's leg be lengthened by several inches.
I have a friend who prayed for a blind man and he received his sight. That's not something that can be imagined or faked. Either he saw or he didn't.
As for receiving healing, that's something that is debated. Simply put, it requires great faith.

I went to IHOP in Kansas City when they first started out in a trailer. Misty Edwards always gave me really dirty glares. I don't know why. She NEVER said 'hi' to me either - just gave me dirty looks. It could be because of all the slander and gossip that is prevalent within IHOP. I was there, and the enthusiasm was no different than what I've seen when I've gone to Red Sox games, or rock concerts. A group of people gathered together who are excited about what they believe doesn't constitute a cult. I recommend you take a look at large secular gatherings in sports, music, and politics. People are always worshiping and being ritualistic about something. The real question is, do you even know what you are worshiping? Because most people don't.

The Bible says in Romans 10:17 that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. So how else are you going to have the faith to believe unless you keep hearing what God says about your problem? Because we may read something once or twice in the Bible and say that we believe that it's true but when everything around you including your own body is telling you differently you don't REALLY believe it.

The good news though is that the same way you got in you can get out. All you have to do is change what your being indoctrinated by. Once you quit listening to what everyone else is saying about your problem and you begin to only listen to what God says about it that's the first step. You then take the Word and you get the scriptures that pertain to the need that you have and you begin to confess them with your mouth over and over again every day.

It happens to everyone and this process of indoctrination is what Satan uses to get people held into believing a certain way. That's why it's especially important who your being taught by in the church you go to because if that man or woman is teaching something that's not lining up perfectly with the Word of God they can get you really out of balance with truth. And that's what Satan wants is to keep people from getting healed and from getting set free and from getting out of bondage.

That's why it's so important that you guard yourself from what you look upon and what you listen to and that you begin to judge the character of the people your spending your time around. Because whatever your soul is coming in contact with is what it's trying to become more like. You can get recognize this pretty easily in young people in how they begin to change when they start hanging around a different crowd of people. The way they talk and dress and act and the things they do.

Another example would be when you take an English speaking American and drop them out in the middle of a tribe in Africa that doesn't speak a bit of English. Even though he doesn't speak their language and he's never had to survive out in the wild he'll still begin to adapt to the surroundings he's being subjected to. After a while he'll begin to learn parts of their language by listening and watching and he'll learn how to hunt and how to dress and how to act all by seeing and hearing.

Ya know it wasn't that long ago that a large portion of the white people in America literally hated black people and they didn't want to have anything to do with them because they didn't feel they were as good as them. And we all know the cost that it took to begin to change those things in America. But if you later went and asked some of these people why they hated them you'd find a lot of them hadn't even hardly ever met a black person if at all. So why did they hate them so much?

A lot of the time the way we believe is based on whatever area of the World that we were born into and grew up in. If you were born in an oriental culture you believe a certain about things. If you were born in the Middle East you believe a certain way. And if you were born into the Western culture you believe a certain way. And you have all these different beliefs about just everything because it was process of things you saw and heard and were taught throughout your life.

We limit God because of our own unbelief. The only thing stopping us from having everything that He promised us is that lack of faith in you and me. The only thing that's stopping us from walking in the same power and authority and doing the same miracles that Jesus did is our lack of faith because Jesus said even greater things you will do than me because I go to be with the Father. We limit God in every area of our life because we focus our belief on what we see instead of what He said.

See where your hung up is with thinking that God has to make a choice on whether or not He does this thing for you. Many churches teach that God decides when He wants to heal and when He doesn't and He'll heal you if it's His will to do so. But nothing about that is scriptural. You have to throw out half of the New Testament just to believe that. But yet they still teach this because they can't understand why sometimes people get healed and why sometimes they don't.

The problem lies in the fact that God demands faith. It says without faith it is impossible to please God. He also said you will receive whatsoever you have the faith to believe for. So where's the problem coming in that people can't get what they're praying for and what it seems like sometimes God answers and sometimes He doesn't? The problem lies in you and your lack of faith that Jesus ALREADY DID what your asking Him to do for you.

So what's the problem here? Is it like you said God hears but just doesn't always answer? I mean He just sent His only Son to go through horrible persecution and an unimaginable death.
The Jews who lived by the Old Testament law and were what you would look to as being the religious church goers during that time were the ones that denied Jesus and went before Pilate angry and screaming that He be crucified because of claiming to be the Son of God.

That dosen't suprise me that thier are fakers, i in know way claimed that all healings are sincere. However I am inclined to believe they can happen due to my own healing. I suffered with acid reflux for a long time, doctors were concerned about me doing damage to my oesophagus, i was on some medication as perscriped. And the guy at the front of the Church called this out, he prayed for me and the refulx stopped. Now I am aware of the following; calling out acid reflux in a church of 50 is....

I just said I was aware of it psycomotive etc. but the damage done to my oesophagus is no longer there which means it has healed which had never happened before it was all ways in a state of semi-repair, this was shown last time i had the camera down my throat. Most hypnotic cures are shown to be tempoary this was shown hugely with placebo surgery etc, so from the papers i have read i would say that most placebo's are temporary. I found it hard to imagine that my mind could lose the pain iwas in

And to be honest I wouldn't care wether it was God or my mind that got rid of them!! What about stigmata's? I mean the one's that happen while there are witness' not one's that go into a room and 'pray' and come out with it.

I'm afriad i don't see much brain washing in the Church, I've been to the most and least Charsmatic churches and the only influence the church has that i have an issue with is money but it dosen't seem to payoff here in the UK. First question. How is it that you believe "christians" have brainwashed individuals? I'm not saying I'm going to disagree with you. I just want to know what you think.
As for reason, one very large failure in the "church" today is the belief that Christians don't have to think. However, if you have read the New Testament, you know this to be untrue.

more than likely to produces results, suggestibility and even hypnosis could take the pain away but these tend to be short term even in the most suggestible person and it is now a few years on, also i could of course 'grown out of it' but i've had it, it would seem, from birth and would seem a massive coincidence. I also stopped taking my medication the day I was prayed for and haven't taken any since. Ok it's not as good as some1 getting out of a wheelchair.

But as you said, these healings that you followed up on are supposedly all due to people saying they were sick and got healed even though they were never sick or they simply got healed by other means than God. Well once again, any good thing that God ever does satan is always going to be out there trying to pollute it for his benefit. Satan takes great pleasure in trying to make a mockery of the things of God and in most cases he succeeds because people are lacking in the teaching department.

And the second thing that you need to know is that there are a whole lot of people that get healed and then later lose their healing because they didn't continue to stand in faith. When God heals and someone is in a church service or out on the street or wherever their at when the power of God hits and the anointing is there and you get your healing, the very second you walk out those doors at the church after the service the devil is going to be there trying to convince you that it was a lie.

He will come at you with uncaptivated thoughts and fear and worry and he will work on you until he convinces you that it was all fake and it wasn't real and that if you did get healed it's only because of something else you did and that it wasn't God. And if he can get you to believe that then you will open the door for that thing you just got healed from to come right back upon you. God demands a certain measure of faith on your part.

When a person gets their healing they're to then go and continue to confess what the Word of God says over that thing they just got delivered from. They need to get out their Bible and start thanking God for their healing over and over every day and confessing that by the stripes of Jesus I am healed. Because if you do not then satan will deceive you in your mind because after a while you'll start to think well maybe God didn't really do it.

And if you give him any foot hold at all that thing will start to creep back upon you and you'll get into worry and fear and once that happens you'll lose that healing you were trying to hold on to. Because satan absolutely hates you more than anything and he is not going to sit idlely by and let great things of God take place without coming in and trying to stop it. And the only thing that he listens to is the word of God and that's why you have to confess what the word says over and over.

RobyPreachTimothy, the law of sin and death which was the law in the Old Testament was defeated when Christ died upon the cross. Sin can no longer cause a separation between you and God because sin no longer has any dominion over you. In the Old Testament they made sacrifices of animals but it was never enough to fully cover those sins and the sacrifices being made each year constantly brought remembrance to those sins being committed.

When they were still under the law sin had authority over them and no matter how hard they tried not to sin they could NOT stop themselves from sinning.
Romans 7:5-6 For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions which were aroused by the law were at work in our members to bear fruit to death.
But now we have been delivered from the law, having died to what we were held by, so that we should serve in the newness of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the letter.
