  • Sorry To Be A Noob, But I Personally Think The 2004 Version Is Amazing, I Love Gerard Butler As Erik And I Love Emmy Rossum Is Amazing At Christine, I To, Think Sarah Is An Amazing Singer But. It's Just When She Sings Into The Camera That I Don't Like. Like In Angel Of Music Mirror. It's Literally Looks Like She's Gonna Jump Out Of The Screen And Nom On Your Face. :3

  • Sarah Brightman is amazing. I've seen her in concert and it was a chilling experience. A movie is a movie, seeing someone live and making your hand stand up is something else.

  • Emmy rossum cant compare to Sarah. Listen, she makes it sound so effortless!

  • good

  • No one is better. Sara is and always will be the original Christine, but Emmy is for a more modern age. They are both amazing.

And same goes for the Micheal Crawford and Gerard Butler.

  • I really wish I was older, so I could've seen the original version, or have been Christine. /hides.

  • Sarah is the BEST simple as that!

  • I love how everyone tries to say that Emmy is better. Sarah is by far the best Christine....no doubt about that! Besides, the part WAS written for her by her then hubby.

  • From a musical perspective, this duet is actually quite perfect. The duet is perfectly balanced and reflects the ambience of the Paris Opera. Also, due to the fact that they are referring to the Phantom throughout the duet, it incorporates the Phantom's themes folded into it. The chord changes are nearly identical to the Music of the Night, the Phantom's aria and on phrases such as 'and it's not like you', the notes in one voice ascend chromatically like the overture. Also ...

  • @1AdrianR Also, when Christine sings 'Angel of Music, guide and guardian, grant to me your glory', the Phantoms bass of the repeated tonic also occurs. Lastly, the final lines of 'he's with me even now...' not only evoke a sense of mystery but also employ the descent by whole tones and circle of fifths, another prominent musical aspect of the show.

  • omaigod es espledi yes angel of music yes

  • i am very proud to be related to sarah brightman my grandma told me i was now i know where i got my musical talent!

  • Both Emmy and Sarah voices are beautiful. Emmy has a more chidlike voice while Sarah's is more refined.

  • Sierra Boggess is the BEST Christine EVER!!!

  • this sounds cool but the movie version just have a better tone in my opinion, a lot of that I know is due to the edit portion of putting it together but either way I like the movie version better though this version sounds cool

  • I like Rossum's voice in the movie version but I love Sarah's voice. its a cute piece with a cute tune hahaha.

  • I love it...but I also loved that blonde girl in the movie version that was singing sooo sweet haha

  • One of most romantique plays of all temes..also from Emmy Rossum in vocals here..Dedicate to monamie an ange d'musique vocaliste @adamlambert from toi amie @LisetteAngel(LisetteMarie)..toujours feling yu have been one in ma vie..merci for belchansons..Happy Valentine's Day..luv all yur songes..J'etaime Lisettexoxo

  • I like both, but I have to say that I like Sarah more. Emmy scoops at the beginning of words so much, I can barely listen to her

  • I love the purity in Meg's voice =)

  • oooooh WHY CANT I FIND I VID ON SARAH SINGING ANGEL OF MUSIC THE MIRROR??? i really want to upload one but i dont know how!! man i luuuvv emmy but i really havn't realized how awesome sarah is!!

  • Sarah is awsome, I love her voice, I also think that Emmy is a good singer. There is a vid of the Original London Cast (Michael, Sarah and Seve) singing Angel Of Music and The Mirror, it´s in YouTube :D

  • Sarah Brightman is amazing, but i prefer the movie cast's meg

  • @FluffyCupCake789 she plays a really horrible gangster's daughter in a movie called The Cottage.
