Hammerer was the original choice for dwarf melee dps. But it was a totally made up class so they decided to use the slayer instead.

hammerer wasnt made up, theres a hammerer miniature from GW, but slayers were just much more popular.

How do they do in RvR ?

yeah they do pretty good, I like mine.

They do pretty good, yeah, but I've already tested the four tanks, and the black orc is maybe along with the swordmaster the one that is meant to get hit all the time, and that's about it.

Black orcs have a skill to regenerate life, and has huge amounts of armor, you can also defend another character with a skill that makes him share his "pain" with you so that he/she receives half the damage when he's near you.

I like tanking and so I choose the black orc.

temporarily removed till they can make sure that it is balanced and unique. they also removed blackguard, knight of the blazing sun, and hammerer

buuuuut i wish they let you have both sides be allowed on the same server on the final version of the game but we cant always get what we want

yea the ability to be able to pick any race from any side s only on beta in the real thing it just allows you to pick your side as always

No, you can only pick one side that prevents people going oh lets siege, then go on the other character on order and tell everyone omg there siegeing here

Yeah, you can make something like 9 characters on a server, I think? And they can be any class, any race, any side. It's pretty open.
