yes, the introduction in G major lasts for 49bars, which is not commonly seen. The G minor is where the principle theme starts

it's because of the not quite correct sound balance of the original streaming file. Ohter clips from the same concert I've put up here are better, as I re-dubbed them with sound recorded from different source.

ever since her sensational london debut in 1970, she's been one of the most acclaimed violinists in our time. She recorded most of important romantic violin concertos on DECCA lable and EMI. Her Thaikovsky, Bruch, Walton, Bartok concertos are especially recommandable. Unfortunately she hasn't yet officially recorded Mozart sonatas.
