Saxo's are shit with the standard tyres. I put mine on its roof in a ditch a few years ago. The front wheels would loose traction and stop steering at low speed in "normal" rain conditions, lethal!!
@ggaudin1 "did" lol its now either being used for parts or been turned into a fridge or something. Yeah it had cheap tyres on but even the originals were not much better because the tyres are too narrow! I've now got a 06 corsa and for a similar car the handling is so much better
@pimpUK1 In some cases, narrow tires are better, like on snow ! anyway the rubber makes it all, if you got chinese tires, it'll go in a ditch for sure, if you got good soft rubber, like michelin pilot or dunlops for example, you'll handle very well, as long as you are not going too fast and locking your brakes !
@ggaudin1 I'll admit the tyres I have now are a damn sight better, I was doing 30-40 at 5am on snow covered roads. got to driotwich and the snow was being pushed by the bumper it was that high!! However I still stand by my comments that saxos are awful cars, no wonder there are not many left on the roads, they all seem to get written off.
haha chilling in snow with just the decks.:D

@pimpUK1 in other words, your car understeers... But as you say it's standard tyres, and maybe even lowprice ones or old ones (more that 5 years old)
