I bought mine a few months ago. Still in the box - I know it looks quite straight forward to assemble, but I'm anxious about soldering. I don't suppose you could upload a non time lapse version could you?
Ya they can get screwed up, I recommend buying a learning to solder kit. You will learn valuable skills and not run a risk of damaging components that may be hard or pricey to come by.

i'm really curious how far one can go in programming it.
ever since i read about it in some german computer mag i am checking for pics/vids/anything about it on a daily base. well i am playing my order today anyway, no turning back.
Does something come preinstalled because I plan on not programming

@thadude1337 The package has really good and simple instructions, and you can find good prograaming tutorials online.

If you know C, I suspect you'll have no trouble programming it.

I'm very happy with it. The LEDs are brighter and more colorful than any pictures or videos I've seen online. I love it!
