i've had a similar problem playing skins. usually pressing the plus key to pause and then continuing the game gets it back on track. sometimes it changes what the next hole value is though.
That was online. Bad console my azz. That is what happens when you hole out sometimes. The ball just spins and never hits the bottom of the cup. This is an online problem.
