I went from a 04 G35 coupe ( SLOW) to an 02 Z06 (FAST)with cheaper insurance and PAYMENT! I love my Z.. Def hard to launch. no 1.8 60fts at the drop of the hat like the EVO.. Thats why ET Streets were created ;)

How about this, all of the hairpins of a rally and a two lane road on tarmac? You could pick whatever NASCAR driver suits you, I'd go with Tommi Makinen from WRC. Now THAT wouldn't be a race! The C6R wouldn't even be in the rear view mirror after two or three corners. Especially on the downhill, were threshold braking technique means life or death.
Even on tight tracks like that the C6R will still win, now through some gravel, and jumps in the mix and of course the WRC driver will win. And where did you get NASCAR from. WRC cars are great in their element. So are C6R's. You forget how much down force C6R's have, along with almost 2 inch bigger brakes. The only way a WRC car will win, is on a WRC course.

Yes and g numbers hinder cars with a slimmer car width. The Evo car width is slimmer than the Z06 car width therefore its gonna have lower g's than the Z06.
C6 Z06- 75.9 inches
C5 Z06- 73.6 inches
Evo IX 69.7 inches
The Evo is not made for the track like the Z06 is. Z06's are track cars. Evo's are rally cars.
Race an Evo against a Z06 on a rally course and the Evo would win just like a stock Z06 would beat a stock Evo on a Track course.

I forgot to throw in the Evo's numbers.
Evo IX wheelbase- 103.3 inches
Evo IX Slolom- 70.7 mph
Wheelbase has nothing to do with it. The C6 Z06 has a longer wheelbase than the C5 Z06 and it still posted a better slolom time.
At the end of the day, the Evo is still proven to handle better than a Corvette Z06.

Have you seen my new vids? I've been at the track playing with $100+k Porsche track cars. I'm sure you've been doing the same since acording to you, you're a better driver than me and that your car is faster than mine, right? I mean, since you know I'm a terrible driver and my car is slow, you must surely have video of doing more than running with 997 GT3RS's by now, right?

Evo's aren't track cars. They're rally cars.
If an Evo can get a track time like that against a Z06, that's pretty amazing. Add 2K-5K dollars in mods and the Evo would rape the Z06 and still be cheaper.

I can tell that most of you guys are typing from your bedroom in your Mom's house. You can do ANYTHING to ANY car and get results. Chevy sells a 502 fast burn that can be put in a damn Vega...and it will run 9's but at the end of the day, your still left with a Vega. If you're suffering from a diminished phallic syndrome then the Evo is for you. However if you want to run all day with 90% of the cars on the road and look good doing it then the vette is for you.

vette - that cheap composite made car with leaf springs lol, costing 55,000 while i can get an evo for a lot ceaper put 12,000 in mods to make it faster than a z06 still costing less as well as driving in the snow 365days 7 days a week 24 hrs a day 100%, and at the end saying i can take 55,000 what is suppose to be a sports car

yea lets race in the snow all badass and shred nar. Besides the Z06 combines IRS with leaf springs with normal shock upgradeable to coil overs. And its nurburg ring times back it up. What was the evos time again? Evos are sick as hell no need to be ripping on the vette.

An Evo with 2K-5K dollars worth of mods could beat a Z06 and still be 10K dollars cheaper.
Correction: If you're suffering from low self esteem and have a hard time getting the ladies then the vette is for you. However if you want to run all day with 90% of the cars on the road and be practical at the same time doing it then the Evo is for you.

omg r u kidding me why r u choosing the top of the line evo, nobody ever really buys the MR, and a new z06 msrp is at 72,000 so i dont know where ur getting ur #'s from, just face it with spending less money the evo is a better bang for buck in my opinion

Are you fucking retarded i used the reaguler C6 becasue its pretty much a older model z06 proformance wise idiot, and still the cheapest evo i saw was 30,000 without taxes and all that shit so just imagine, look at how much more you get for your money with the corvette. Luxary,looks, speed, and smokin looking car that looks like a sports car and not a 4d saden.

You can build an IMSA Monza cheaper than an EVO. better handling, better drifting, better top speed, better accelartion, better braking, and UNIQUE. Everybody has an EVO, barely anybody knows what a Chevy Monza is.

C5 Z06 was never 70,000 thats the C6 Z06. C5 Z06 was a couple more grand than the base C5 which was in the 50s.
