Problem with the Warhammer IP is that Games Workshop are very restrictive in it's execution so as to not annoy the hardcore fans. Which is a bit of a win/lose situation. What gear looks like, how gear is used is rather restrictive because GW doesn't want people to deviate from their artwork much. What mounts and accessories you can have is also limited due to restrictive IP regulations.
But you think that if you look up the 7th edition rulebook, as well as the army lists you would quickly realise that everyone's characters are pretty much either heroes or leaders, therefore giving them say flying mounts wont vomit over the IP would it?
no noob, its not gonna be gone in a year, its been out for 8months and it allredy has 300k subscribers, when WoW was 8 months old it dident have half of 300k, and the only reason WoW is so popular is becouse it was the only decent MMO at the time it came out, and about the speed of PvP, its better if its a bit slower becouse the speed is what makes WoW pvp so imbalanced, here players actualy have a chance to fight back, and not get stunlocked to death by a rogue like in WoW. so gtfo!

warrior priests are support healers, the fight in melee to build up righteous fury then they use it for healing themselves or others, they are masters at 1on1 combat, but they are allso very good in groups, their mirror class is the disciple of khaine. so you can play the same role on order or destruction side. :) and nothing about wow paladins is "holy" when a 10year old kids makes one and names him/her "Xtremedeathzx" or something retarded like that =O

But, why should you pay for a game, and play it, if it is only fun when you hit 80? It doesn't make sense ... and no, raids do not need skills .. you need a few tactics, and then bash it out. being outgeared helps too.
War is ... Look, WoW and War is built on the same base. WAR-craft trook from WAR-hammer. So both games are similiar, but WoW goes PVE and Warhammer goes PVP. 'Nuff said =)

so you prefer a 3 hit-kill? .. WHERE is the fun in that? In War you play your class well, to win, while in WoW . spam 4 skills as a loladin and you'll win in 5 crits.
WP's are great fun, not many of them though. I remember i had a 1vs1 against a DoK lasted 5 minutes then i got help from two of my groupmates :). anyway looking forward to 1.3. LotD FTW

The Warrior Priest has been in Warhammer since 4th edition(maybe earlier, haven't played any earlier than that), before Warcraft was even released, which was originally supposed to be a Warhammer game. So saying that Warhammer stole the Warrior Priest class from WoW is just extremely ignorant. History, D&D, and many other things also had paladin classes, -before- Warcraft ever existed.

I plan on getting this game soon, but I'm not so sure on a class yet. I am leaning towards Warrior Priest, but how fun are they to play??? I want a character that I can level fast with, but still destroy in PvP with. Is healing fun? Can you just give me your overall Warrior Priest impressions?
Im very glad that i chose this class, it got some really nice potential, it got heavy armor, healing and good look =) You can go in combat and fight (as i prefer) or you can stay in a back line and heal, or do both =)
But i think i will reroll with the KOTBS, just becouse its a tank and i like tanking =)

WoW is populare because it is EASY - Kids can win.
It is ADDICTIVE - everything is made to MAKE you play.
And it is OVERRATED - People say it is good because so many plays it.
I played WoW, and trust me.. it is NOT fun... Just addictive. I found WAR to be soooo much more fun o.O
