  • whatever he say sound cool...love that pedaltrain

    gonna get myself one

  • you're hilarious

  • Just casually drill into the floor :L

  • Hey Gearman Dude!

I've got a PedalTrain Pro, and bought the Powerplant, but the holes in the back of the Pedaltrain don't line up with both the AC In, and AC out that are on the back of the Powerplant. (I can line up one, but not the other) Is this the case with Pedal Train 2? Do I have to saw away the back in order to get access to both ACs?

  • He likes it

  • Is there any efficient way to mount my dunlop dc brick under the pedaltrain too?

  • pop em off....stick em on your arm...then you can look like a robot...cool! so fucking funny! did anyone else laugh there ass off at that part?

  • Cool shoes.

  • jajajajaja todo lo azota

  • 1:22 i like it (throw away!)

  • Comment removed

  • Love visualsound pedals.

  • What should I get if I want a power plant that DOESN'T cost $190

  • @ixlikexscurvy if you cant afford a pedal power or power plant, get a one spot combo for like $35

  • What's that called, the board your´e holding at 0:30 ?

  • @temptationbase Rave On Pedalboards. He said it twice.

  • @jwalsh8 ah...most have misted it. feel kinda stupid :P

But do you have any clue where to buy one of those?

  • Hi Gearmanndude that pedalboard you used ray von i think, what is the model name?

  • "I like it!" Awesome dude.

  • Got one myself. Traded in Speaker cabinet for a Pedaltrain JR. except the change the tissue paper.

  • 2:57 Let's mount this sucker in here! Yeah!

  • Problem is that you have to unscrew the power plant to acess the dip switches. you have the dip switches under on the pedal power.

  • GMD & The CULT 4 president!!!

  • this is the most enjoyable review/tutorial I've ever watched!

  • what pedalboard is, that you have at the beginning of the video, that is a simple table, here i can get one, how is the name ???

  • /watch?v=gelDeT5MlTs&feature=youtube_gdata_player this is grearmandudes real face

  • "This is a dental tool, but you can also use it for pedal boards apparently." Lmao!

  • Pinche gringo presumido xD

  • I love how he disregards his wood floors when drilling

  • Would i fit a line 6 dm4, Keeley compressor, ehx deluxe memory man (the new one), boss graphic eq and boss noise gate on a pt jr.

  • can you mount a fuel tank jr with the brackets? T.Rex doesn't offer that information

  • norm abrahms

  • you are my hero

  • You have jack black's voice :P

  • My tissue paper was of flowers =[

  • Pt2: Also a One spot or similar "daisy chain" are fine until you need: a two out split, or have a germanium fuzz (even polarity correct) but germ's reverse when kicked on and will ground out all the other pedals (no signal) and will hum with some FX combo's (mine did) NO I am not just some VDL fanboy (but with several racks and boards running on VDL P-supps and no failure's I am biased) and No, I got my nickname from how I used to play the Hendrix tune 20 some yr's ago. And,, GMD rocks!!! VG

  • Concerning power supps, the PP2's "Line 6" out is a 9 volt 1200ma "AC" out so nothing grounbreaking on the Modtone.(which is a off shore made P-supp licensed by voodoo lab corp) It is isolated on all out's a big plus, but, it a one dollar more then a PP2+ at MF,I'll stick with the USA made version. . ) Pt1

  • its so funny when im surfin gear vids and i come up on yours cuz every freakin time im like...this guy sounds just like jack black!!....and then im like no wait.....its just the germanndude lol

  • Kinda sounds like Dale from King of the Hill LOL. Awesome Vid

  • SHOW US YOUR FACE!

  • he sounds like Jack Black 0.o

  • Will a pt junior fit a dunlop dv1 volume pedal? im also putting 2 hardwire pedals and a fishman aura spectrum acoustic di

  • Will a pt junior fit a dunlop dv1 volume pedal?

  • can i put any other power supply instead of that one ur using? for example the dunlop EC brick?

  • "lets put this knife away" *toss*

  • you can take the feet off and stick em on your arm...look like a robot

  • nice demo! anyways, can the pedaltrain junior fit a crybaby wah, vox satchurator & time machine (bigger pedals) with other 4 boss pedals? its gonna be really cramped up eh?

  • can the pedaltrain fit into the bag provided with all the pedals or is the bag just customised for the pedal train only???

  • Mark the holes with an automatic center punch. You can see the mark and the drill bit won't "walk".

My Pedaltrain didn't have those big holes for the Voodoo Labs to mount to. The brackets weren't available yet either. So I had to fab all that stuff. I used a hole punch for the big inner holes where my drill motor wouldn't fit between the aluminum rails. I'm glad to see you're finally using an "A/B" switch for your demos. This makes comparisons a lot easier for us feebs on the interwebs.

  • vacuum looks like dolphin

  • big man...with kids...plays the guitar...he's voice is awesome even when he's talking...throws things around like he 's a millionaire....acts like a little kid......I wonder who he is....

  • lets put this knife away... casually tosses knife aside :P

  • HI thanks for video,i have a pedaltrain and some of my pedals dont stick properly as the bottoms are not compleatly flat, has anyone got any idea how to sort this problem out.

  • @maryannemay Hey Mary, from what I hear if you pedal has any rubber stoppers at on the bottom of the pedal you will have to pull these off to get them flush. A very sad thing I know! =[

  • @jacobcake Hi Jacob thank you very much for your help

but i have done that and some of them still dont stick properly.

If you have any other ideas i would be greatfull.

    Thanks again.

    Regards Mary.

  • Jack Black?

  • @aerorocker1001 He Sound more like Dale Gribble from King of the Hill

  • @gearmanndude: Some people claim to have discovered your identity and are trumpeting it near and far on ye olde interwebs. But, truth be told, I'd rather not know. I appreciate your mystique. And your demos. But mostly your mystique.

  • holy crap! what was that song for the intro of the movie?

  • @arva300178 AC/DC's "It's a long way to the top (if you wanna rock and roll)"

  • this is like the 3rd time ive watched this video in the past hour and its still not old

  • Pop'em off.....stick'em on yer arm....you can look like a robot.

  • You sound exactly like Jack Black dude.

  • does it work with dunlop dc brick

  • I love how you just throw the other pedal board upon the new ones arrival lol

  • gearmandude...excellent how to & for an idiot like me, worked like a charm mounting the Pedal Power 2 today. Thanks!

  • Is that a flash light inside a drill? damn... thats modern technology!

  • ooooohh.. tissue paper. lol

  • pop 'em off. stick them on your arm.

and you can look like a robot.

  • hey jack can you and kyle make a demo of the pick of destiny?

  • Are you a dentist?

  • you sound like jack black. I LIKE IT

  • can we see you vacuum some more?

  • nicely done dude.

  • Your vacuum sucks........

  • That vacuum has great tone.

  • Good... damm good.

  • im sold to buy one thanks germanndude it looks so easy to have stress free i need a pedal board i never got one

  • lol... cordless tools to manual screw driver...classique

  • this guy is so cool

  • will this fit a crybaby, and 5 boss single pedals?

  • @RT101894 yes

Think of it as 8 boss pedals comfortably, 4 top and 4 bottom

So two vertically for the Wah that leaves room for 6 on the side, so yes, 5 pedals and a wah will fit

  • @hidingthetreeline ok, cool. im deciding between the JR or the PT-2...havent decided yet..what do you think? im always getting more pedals

  • @RT101894 For me, I'd go the JR, but if you adding more pedals and constantly moving stuff on and of I'd go a PT1/2 that way you've got the space to upgrade, but If you're not gonna be adding more or just swapping pedals on and off keep it smaller, that way theres less unused space and more money to spend on other things

  • haha! New yankee workshop! a program of my childhood.

  • he said. ohh paper, i like it. and he just threw it away. lol

  • you remind me of Jack Black:p

  • vacuuming is a women's job

  • every time i watch another one of your videos i keep drawing closer and closer to convincing myself to buy a pedaltrain. It's just a matter of figuring out which size would work best for the stuff i have on it. I wish the sold the PT1 with a soft case, cause that would be ideal

  • Dude you sound like jables!!

  • I love how you just scatter things about! Hahaha

  • You say 'I like it' alot!

    I LIKE IT^^

  • watching GMD build stuff is so entertaining.

  • coool board openin that thing up ur like a little kid on christmas! haha.

  • I've read that the courtesy power outlet on the Mod Tone doesn't line up with the hole on the Pedal Train Jr. and I noticed at the end of your demo the cap was still on the hole that accesses the courtesy outlet. Does it line up?

  • I hope your cat is not around when you throw your stuff - I mean knives, scissors etc.

  • I dig your boots! WOW

  • wait, so u were too lazy to dismount a voodoo lab from a pedalboard so you just went and bought another one? dude, i wish i had that much disposable income!

  • i like it how he throws stuff and makes an ooooo noise about the tissue paper

  • buddy, I am the dragon warrior

  • I would have finished watching your video if you hadn't just started throwing your brand new gear around! U must be a rich boy!

  • do you know it all pedaltrain boards come with velcro? what do you think about buying the 1 spot to power up the pedals since the voodoo lab pedal power is so expensive? voodoo lab power pedal: 180$ powers 8 peedals Power all PA95 powers 11 pedals: 40$

  • @Mrbegals The one spot works great for me!

  • your voice expression is hilarious

  • why don't you make one yourself?? That's ay cheaper and you can make it exactly as you like...

  • hey...that guy...he sounds like...GEARMANNDUDE!!! could it be him?

    nah, it's just jack black.

  • Dude. Pedaltrain kicks ass. Thats a sweet pedalboard. I use it to mount all my pedals that i sell at my shop.

  • I know if you're Jack BLack you won't say it but Jack is the best!:D

  • he also punch a hole n d floor! cool! you rocks! ^ ^

  • would the mounting brackets for the pedalpower fit the dunlop dc brick?

  • you sound like jack black

  • I want one of these...LOL put this knife away ( throws knife)

  • Awesome video......

    Jack Black?

  • i have a t-rex fuel tank. can someone tell me if it's possible to mount it under the pedaltrain jr?

  • whats the difference between a voodoo labs power supply to a one spot power supply

  • @foootos The Voodoo Lab has isolated outputs.

  • the one spot's quieter, more efficient, cleaner, and not to mention cheaper. i still don't know why people still buy voodoo lab-type power supplies.

  • @41224jason sif its quieter

  • @Ocelot911 my one spot runs 10 times quieter than my bbe supa charger ever did. or my buddie's voodoo labs, for that matter.

  • Man, you're great.

    Nice boots, too

  • I like your shark vacuum.

  • What was the name of the other pedalboard in the beginning?

  • Sir

I'd like to mount on it a trex fuel tank.

Do you think there will be probs?

  • Loved the comments about the New Yankee Workshop and Norm... so true!!! Funny and helpful!!!

  • Thank you for posting this. It was helpful. :)

  • haha, this video was most helpful and highly entertaining. Thanks for posting.

    Cheers!

  • He is jack black...he has way to much gear and videos....which means he has a lot of money....soooo..yeah.

  • @shecter143 He revealed his identity in another video and he is actually, officially Christian Slater.

  • Is it possible to plug an old Boss CE3 chorus in Modtone Powerplant?

Because CE3 as normally unregulated ACA 12v power supply.

  • man i wish i had as many pedals as you :(

  • Thats a cool drill! Never seen one with a light!

  • @fiveparkdrive man you're an asshole

  • i think i will buy this board, but i am going to use the 1spot for supply.

  • you sound like jack black

  • Think this will be big enough for me? I have a fulltone FD2, TS9, TU2, Volume Pedal, CS-2, Mt-2

  • you rule! awesome video. you sound and act like jack black. haha :)

  • I LOVE GEARMANDUUUUUDE

  • ahahahahaha i like the way how he just threw that old pedal board to the side while exclaiming "yeah its great!" ahahahahah

  • Where did you order your pedaltrain.

  • What are the brands of the small patch chords to connect the pedals... and what is the wires to attatch the power supply to the pedals.

  • dude are u sure you aint jack black u sound like him :)

  • Are you Dale from king of the hill? by the way, COOL, I LIKE IT!

  • @guitarnick914 Nope Jack Black's long lost brother lol.

  • Alot of people don't think about it, but you can actually mount the power supply with industrial strength velcro as well - and believe me, it holds like a champ.

  • I have one of these. It's great, two thumbs up! The zip ties don't hold though, so I got some velcro straps to hold things in place. I really like the space's, when some idiot spills beer on it Makes clean so much easier. Over all a great investment.

  • Now watch at 5:43 as I put a new hole in the studios hardwood floor with my drill...Sorry couldn't resist!!! LOL!!! Cool board...thinkin bout gettin one too.

  • I love when you vacuum its like watching the "anal retentive chef " from SNL lol

    Like your demos though man!

  • I was more impressed by the light on your drill lol.

    That's so cool

  • ya thats what i was mostl paying attension 2 also lol

  • He sounds like Jack Black!

  • dude its Jack Black

  • Most definitely NOT Jack Black

  • its definitely not.

    watch?v=n4sZ-pbosgo

but I think he's funnier and cooler any day. But thats typical of midwest / southern guys than californians (yes yes Im a midwesterner thats lived in the south and currently in california, so I know)

  • this or diago gigman

  • Dude, you should do stand up!

  • bet ya got some nice marks on the hardwood floor now. LOL.

  • tnx for the demo man..

  • dude...why don't you tret it with love?...it's not going to last long that way...

  • why do ppl buy voodoo lab pedal power? why not just buy a one spot? you save like 200 bucks.

  • The Pedal Power isn't even 200 bucks, it's 180 I think. But anyway, the Pedal Power is better because each 9v plug is isolated, not in a daisy chain
