good to see what the road looks like from a 2wheelers point of view, just took a 53ft trailer that way, it sucked. remember around that bend might be an 18wheeler and u'd be lunch
If you have the time & gas money, take the trip on RT 250 from the I 64/81 exit in Staunton, VA to the I 77 junction in New Philadelphia, OH. Talk about a beautiful ride.
Well, that was a good guess, however, this video didn't start at the Tastee Freeze. Rather, it commenced at the parking lot for the "Confederate Breastworks" at the summit of Shenandoah Mountain (roughly 25 miles from the outskirts of Staunton).
Ha ha -- I know this road well ---- After living in Florida since 1974, my wife and I just bought mountain land out west of Staunton on 250 ............ That cycle started it's trip on this video near the 42 exit at a Tastee Freeze
35 miles or so, its in the GW National forest. I forget the name of the top of the 2 peaks this video starts in, but ive been down this road with 10-14 inches of snow and what a beautiful ride it is.....
