Don't know brother, I never really had trouble with Guile when using Gief.

Superjump and SPD seems to work just fine.

I dont really think gief can get close to tk flashkicks with a horizontal assist and slow booms on screen. Not saying you cant outplay a guile player, just think the matchup is wonky.

Brother, I feel that Guile's at a slight disadvantage when up against Zangief, because he charges his moves, and while that's good against fireballers the charge time gives Zangief enough time to move in for the kill.

I agree with you that the biggest threat he has on Zangief is his flash kick and his air combos. With a good assist, it's tough to grab Guile. But the two words every player is scared of is 1) SUPER and 2) ARMOR. Guile doesn't have anything on Mech Zangief, trust me.
