fix wordpress ftp error(Unable to locate wp-content directory)

This worked for me. But I did get an error about being unable to create a folder. To fix this I ran: " chmod -R 777 wp-content " and afterwards I ran: " chmod -R 755 wp-content "

@dallaske420 oh.. This's about a year old(10 days from being a year old, lol).. Therefore, if you've updated to any new WordPress versions, it might not work.

@jinujvc themes are very tricky, that's why it's better to install them manually. And get them from another site, that's related to Wordpress.. Like, ones made by another person.
