  • I am still growing in a religious family, my mother is as religious as religious can get,she prays everyday and always has the channel on TBN every day, yet she does not know her own son is atheist. I mean why would i tell her, right now i believe she needs this faith that she has to survive, some people do even though is illogical. Either way i will wait until i move out and than i break the big news even though i have to sit in a church were i can question all that is being said.

  • He always says the same thing about the bar room fight. :P

  • I have so much respect for him right now!!! Good for him, exactly what I would say to a theist.

  • creationist if you hate science so much and feel that it's useless. please stop rushing to the doctors. or to the pharmacy when your sick. leave all medicine alone. don't take anything. if you have cancer or something. don't go to a cancer treatment facility. Take put your life in your gods hand. just rely on faith and prayer literally. don't get sick take medicine then say thank god for taking away your headache. you guy's always seem to confuse doctors and science with your god..

  • @TyeDye07 some actually do this. Disgusting

  • @thinkboutit some . you mean ALOT

  • @TyeDye07 Yes, yes I do lol.

  • i hate it when the time bar is reaching the end, i keep glancing at it at hoping there is more time left, i could listen to him talk like this for hours

  • I have mixed opinions about what he had to say, honestly. So no like, no dislike.

  • This is a really sad yet beautiful video and I think you people arguing should just shut up, you're not doing to change the other person's opinion.

  • Enough of the flamewar. If you didnt think the ending to this video was one of the most beautiful things you have ever heard your a heartless bastard.

  • Think about this.

Which is more special that you were thought up and made like a drawing or a piece of pottery.

Or being the only ones (that we know of, as of now) to have survived and evolved into humans, even though the odds are exponentially overwhelming. That seems more amazing and far more special than anything.

  • "the impossibility is overwhelming"? well to me the POSSIBILITY is overwhelming! how can something as small as an atom be the building blocks for an entire universe! sometimes i just dont understand how atheists can claim their is no God! life itself is something immense, i think the probability of God being real vs the probability that everything happened by chance, God being real is infinitely more probable. how did everything come to be? someone greater had to have created it.

  • @masterxgt and where did the god come from? How did he appear? It appeared from nowhere by chance? So you are negating something that we can see and can feel, but don't know where it came from, but support something that we can't see and feel and prove and still don't know where it came from. It is said that believers are afraid of the unknown, therefore they create some explanation of everything. You are too scared to realise that whole universe will always be uncontrolled.

  • @zuokula2 i'd rather believe in God than anything else, to me personally, i cant imagine how God cant exist. i mean, compare how small we are to the size of the earth, or the sun, then the galaxy and the universe itself. its impossible for me to believe that this whole universe exploded from nothing and because of nothing. to me God isnt something you pray to only on sunday, and hey... see ya next week. He is my creator, Jesus is my Savior, and the love He shows me cant compare to anything else.

  • @masterxgt So... the universe couldn't have come from nothing but God could? Why do you believe in the Christian god? Why do you dismiss all other possible religions? I'm not diminishing your faith, I'm merely enquiring, don't take this the wrong way.

  • @zuokula2 to me its undeniable that the God of the Bible is the true God. Jesus and his deciples along with others before Jesus (Abraham, and so on) arent real just because the Bible says they are. the Bible isnt the only source that says that Jesus was real. The Bible even names places and rulers during various times of History that existed at the same time as Jesus and others.

  • @zuokula2 and the Bible is the only think that is in complete agreement with itself even though it was written over many generations by people who were inspired by God. to people who doubt Gods existence i says at least read the Bible to see what it says and ask God yourself if he is real. i dont understand why people feel threatened by a faith and a God who teaches not to steal, not to murder, to love those around you etc. it even teaches to do good to those who wrong you to show real love.

  • @masterxgt Hi :) umm, first off I just want to let you know I was a die-hard Christian a few months ago and I just knew I was right...first I started asking myself the question "what if?" and my questions kept getting deeper and I looked into everything more and more, including the Bible. I begged God to give me any kind of sign at all that I would recognize his presence by, and nothing came. I started studying evolution and here I am, I am Atheist. I'm still the same, giving person I was before

  • @masterxgt and I still love people and believe people deserve all the respect they can get. I'm not going to tell you you're wrong because there is always the possibility of a higher power, but please if you could do anything for me, look up these videos: Jesus and the Sun God. And "Bible Contradictions Game Show". It took me a long while to realize I can't just believe something without proof, and it really is a hard thing to do, but I did it..and I hope you might someday too. Peace <3

  • @savcmsiscool ive read and heard and even seen videos about those things before, try reading this, the link doesnt here work so, google "evidence of Jesus", and it should be the second link. proof of Jesus from non-christian sources, not modern day, but ancient scrolls from various rules/philosophers etc. its a little long, but worth reading.

  • @savcmsiscool but, i appreciate that even if you might not agree with me, my faith is still respected, rather than made fun of, because honestly, ive seen (or heard) many athiests who dont even want to listen, rather just push their ideas on me and insult me and my faith, so i guess in short... thanks? =)

  • @savcmsiscool an example i could think of is when people look at a beautiful painting and think.. -wow this is a tallented artist, or picaso was a great artist etc. no one doubts that a painting had an artist or that a piece of music had a composer, but people look at nature and creation and think that it came out of no where, that no one created it, and honestly sometimes i feel that it takes more faith to believe the universe came out of no where than it takes to believe that we have a creator

  • @masterxgt That's a common thought, and (Looking at modern art, I can see there being no artist, haha) it's just a slight misconception of how we look at it.

The thing about randomness is that's it's not really there. A coin flipped depends on the physics behind it, and so, the natural laws are what are responsible for movement and proteins.

We view things as beautiful because we grew up here, it's all just protons, electrons and neutrons, there's no real difference between a rock and a painting

  • Bible sucks, spirituality is totally plausible though.

  • That is so, so true. You can't make yourself believe if you don't. You can't lie to yourself.

  • "his name was bob, still is"

i laughed so loud i scared my kids.

  • @musicforchewfaygs you laugh at things too easily.

  • @dmp877 and why is there a problem with that?

  • I totally agree with him on the beauty part. Beauty is so much better when it is mysterious. When you realized a magic being poofed everything into existence, designing things the way he wanted them to be makes it boring, like a working at a factory. But that evolution created us through billions of years of natural selection, that there was probably no specific outcome in mind it just happened that way is beautiful.

  • that's verry humble to say n i live these same values too

  • This wouldn't be a problem if God would just tell people he's real. I mean the guy did alot of stuff in the book, so why doesn't he just do 1 little thing?

  • What if you are wrong about God? Faith is a big part of believing in God. I agree that religion is usually just a big game that people play with each-other because they are still trying to earn their way into heaven, but you can't earn your way into heaven. It's a gift because we can't deserve it. Logically, how can you look out your window and see the world and think that it just happened WITHOUT God?

  • ATHEISTS must thoroughly think about what their goal is. We must recognise the difference between evangelist nutters, and gentle folk who go to church on a Sunday but wish nothing but God's good towards everyone else. If we don't, then we risk pushing the reasonable people further towards the nutters.

Shouting ill informed abuse at Christians like they are some kind of misguided animal is abhorrent and has no place in modern atheism. Remember, its only by chance that you aren't in their place.

  • you don't believe in God, but He believes in you

  • Yes this is exactly what I do, I leave my kids at home alone because I know that Jesus will take good care of them and if they do get hurt or die, I know it was their time and Gods will.

  • Too bad jesus isn't his invisible joke writer.....

  • @MPSecare prove it?

  • @33sirfatty I think it's pretty obvious, If jesus was someone's invisible joke writer, the person would be funny as hell, due to 1000s of years of material... idk what else you want.

  • When I was young I didn't believe in God, but saw it has a harmless lie, like Santa. But when I learned about the Crusades, the cruelty or religious law, and the kids who died in a fire because they thought the chimney would be too hot for santa, i realized that there really is no such thing as a harmless lie.

  • @BassKilla47 You are right. No such thing as a harmless lie. The LIE is that crusaders and crusades=the God of the bible. The fact is JESUS taught that HE came to fulfill the law and the prophets and that it's no longer eye for eye tooth for tooth but it's turning the other cheek and LOVING YOUR ENEMIES. Were those crusaders doing that?? There's your answer.

  • @BassKilla47 Slogan of all religions: Faith through fear and pain.

  • @BassKilla47 I wanna make a new religion. Slogan would be: Faith through happines, love, peace, unity, respect, acceptance. The only christian thing i would copy is do not unto other what u dont want done to you. the rest i would abandon. IMO, anything you do, as long as it doesnt hurt anyone physically or financially, its not wrong,

  • @Hrko1992 That isn't a new religion. That is the pagan rede. Those are the rules by which they live. That is from a religion that came before the christians and before all the horrible things done in the name of a god who may or may not exist.

  • @BassKilla47 wait.. did the kids lite themselves on fire because the chimney was too hot?

  • @BassKilla47 Very well said.

  • @BassKilla47 well said man, well said...

  • @BassKilla47 nevermind the crusades, the religious wars in the middle east that are going on right now should concern us.

  • I agree with what he says about beauty around us.

  • I believed in god when I was littlebut gradually I started to come to the age of reason.I stopped believing in Santa and later God.There was a brief period when I was 15(In finland we go to church camp and are indoctronated)I got brainwashed a bit but I was able to shed that effect off pretty fast. Atheism has truly libarated me and others and It is comforting to know that people are doing good and being concerned of wellbeing of others without the threath of hell.Honest freedom, honest goodness.

  • Lol he looks so pissed doing this interview

  • Comment removed

  • lol if u take a look at the other videos they are made professional but they added a like a feeling to this video so it can trap you.

  • ricky gervais hit the nail on the head in this vid hes like the peoples champ, is it only us english that truely think like this?

  • Albert Einstien was the evil one predicted in the bible. Albert Einstien built a bomb that killed thousands of little babies and harmless children. So you atheistic faggats go worship your albert. go to you gay bars and but fuck each other isnt that what athiest do to prove you can create life out of shit. With all your accumulated knowlege of microscience with all its cercumstatual properties can't even make one little hydrogen atom out of light.

  • @robertus911 LOL

  • Comment removed

  • @robertus911 thanks for sharing!

  • @robertus911 please tell me you are trolling hhaahahah

  • @OGABell God does exist. When you look at the world and all its complexity you know that all this isn't an cosmic accdient. Yes man is an intellegent animal. But it was through the worship of God that man broke the evolutionary chains started documenting information. Then man started getting a big ego the more informtation that was documented. So all this documented knowlege is given us a bid ego.

  • @robertus911 No - it was through the worship of God that women were oppressed, homosexuals were stoned to death, and people who did not believe in God were made outcasts. Religion has done nothing for this world, only bad things. But back to your previous comment, you have NO IDEA what you are talking about. You are obviously some sort of sick minded or brainwashed (by your community) teenager in need of psychiatric evaluation, along with the rest of you religious idiots.

  • @OGABell I can see that your all psyched up and would turn a death ear to any truth about any religion. Catholicism isn't a bunch of fabels. Fabels are seasonal. This christmas is about celebrating Jesus Christ birthday theres nothing false about that. Jesus was a real person he was even in the history books. No one brain washed or forced me to be a christian. As far as wars go the gov's and churchs have allway been odds with each other. (its an acountabilllity issue)

  • @robertus911 No, as a matter of fact I've optionally studied religion and ethics at school - don't take me for an ignorant fool. I have no problem with people believing in a God, but I do have a problem in the way most religious people go about worshipping. Jesus may well have been a real person, but that doesn't make the bible fact. Many fictional characters have been based on real people, and by religious logic that would make the stories told to be true? I find that hard to believe.

  • @robertus911 Also, you may not realise this, but you were (in a way) brainwashed into your catholic beliefs. It is only for your parents beliefs, whom you grew up with and adopted their beliefs as your own. It is all you have ever known, and the human brain is wired to follow the example of its parents. I highly doubt that if you were born in India or Iran or Malaysia or China or even into just an athiest/agnostic family that you would have the same religious beliefs.

  • @OGABell Your just making assumptions and coming up with conclusions with out evidence. I have studied as much as I could about this religion and have read all the Gosples and watch all the lectures from yale and harverd and other univerasities on all they had on the New testiment and Old testiment. Those are kind of like my sunday sermans in seeking God. Some advice you should seek God and if you don't find him at least you will learn a lot. God bless you and merrry christmas.

  • @robertus911 haha how ironic, I am the one who is "making assumptions and coming up with conclusions without evidence". It is the other way round my friend, there is not one bit of evidence that suggests the existence of God. Yet there are many scientific theories that would work without intelligent design. And just because you have studied religion doesn't mean anything, because that is only one side of the coin. Have you studied theoretical physics? I think not. I suggest you go and do so.

  • @OGABell You see there you go making assumptions again. For 5 years I went and studied Physics and Chemistry. The first thing they teach you is the differance beween accuracy and precision knowlege. You can be precise and not be accurate. In other words shooting at a target you can miss to the left everytime that gives you precision. Or you can hit the target dead center that give you accuracy and the truth. All Im saying is search the truth by information. Evil does exist in the absence of God

  • @robertus911 I would like to point out to you, and any other people reading these comments, that I know you are lying. Here is why: you said in a previous comment (and I quote) that scientists today "can't even make one little hydrogen atom out of light". This statement proves to me that you have no idea about physics. This statement makes no sense whatsoever. I invite you to explain to me what you mean by this statement - and please do yourself some justice and answer my question, dont avoid it

  • @robertus911 But then you must admit that it exists in the presence of God.

  • @robertus911 your so fucking stupid you arnt worth correcting.

  • @FubarLikeYou I don't know whats wrong with people like you. When the Christian where being fed to the lion in the roman coliseum. They where asked if they gave up there Christ they could live and they said no and they where eatten by the lions. When mohamid was alive he told his follower to leave the christians alone they will not give up there christ. Not even if you kill them. And like the other guy you think I can tell you in 500 characters what it took me 10 years to learn in college.crazy

  • I kinda have a connundrum inside of me when I watch grown men and women acting out atheism. I kinda chuckle at the thought of fallible man who only as far as we know uses 10% of what we know of our brain and tries to say there is no God and on the other hand I grieve for the souls of these men.

  • @nicknchrist Ha! I think the same about religious people :)

  • @nicknchrist we use all our brains and can use over 15% at one time ,. your mum telling you these porkies wont get you nowhere :)

  • Religion is so retarded. I'm sorry, but it is.

  • @facepalmization Respect man. Believing in something there's no proof of existing for just the point of being happier requires courage.

  • @ajudaaduja - No it doesnt. It requires fear and submissiveness, and a willingness to accept irrrationality before fact.

  • @facepalmization The God hypotesis is an uncertainty, but still not falsifiable, so why bother thinking outside the box? Nothing matters but the truth, so supporting an equilibrated life style without compromises or meaningless beliefs can be rewarding. For example this argument on Youtube, think about what will this bring to society and why are we still doing this. Everything we do is for the search for happyness and no matter what people tell you, nothing is done for a greater good.

  • there is no god. However, there is a creator. search Rael theory. interresting, maybe true, maybe not.

  • @MichaelGDDavidson

All major religions are where they are because there is some degree of evidence.

From the video you told me too watch I see no evidence for you theory. But bare in mind, there is no PROOF for any relgion, only evidence. And if there is no PROOF, it should be classed as Theory, like everything else, anyone who claims they know the truth about the beggining of the world is dillusional or ignorant.

And I apply your quote to everything.

    maybe true, maybe not.

  • Just to play devils advocate. People often forget or ignore that there are inconsistencies in evolution that should be looked at. Like the fact that if natural selection is correct, then it would be logical to say that human beings shouldnt exist. If our hair loss and lack of hunting mechanisms was a form of mutation, then we should have died off soon after the mutation occurred.

  • @TheTrickster14 Evolution takes place over millions of years, and humans have only been around for a few million. It's far beyond any humans lifespan to make an observable change. If your theory is true, maybe that will happen in the next few million years.

  • @TheTrickster14 ass..!! thanks for showing you dont know much about evolution. y shouldnt we exist again??our main weapon was our brain, we got off the trees, started huntin and build tools, arms to PROTECT ourselves frm other predictors at the same time hunting became easier for us. we created tribes and walked in groups, which provided even more security. we adapted quite well, we evolved quite well thus we survived.what inconsistencies r you talkin bout??pls elaborate.

  • I think you can learn a little something from all religions and I think that because I believe everyone is just as capable as I am. I like to think I'm capable of great things and so is everyone else. Even though from my perspective some things seem stupid and not thought out, from their perspective it's deeper. If it wasn't, I doubt they would believe it to begin with...

  • Just to let most of you know, blind belief or disbelief is what almost killed Science in the Dark Ages, NOT Theism.

  • " God is All powerful and kind" my ass. There's a lot of fucked up things happening in this world and where is God when all of this is happening! A couple of Months ago I saw a child got hit by a car it was pretty gruesome ,and all the people did was just stand there ignoring the poor kid. I ran as fast as I could to help the poor kid, called my dad and we rushed him to the hospital. So yeah, God is "kind" alright pffft...

  • @SpardaDVLKing3 You're ignorant. In the bible it states that God gave people the gift of free will. He can not control what individuals do for themselves, or to selfves, or even to others. Fon't comment on videos if you're going to be a fucking idiot.

  • Comment removed

  • @GeTSniiPeD91 The bible also states that God killed thousands of people for worshiping another God (Exodus 32:35). "Free will".... Dumb fuck

  • @SpardaDVLKing3

    Free will is a delusion

  • @SpardaDVLKing3 Judaism. old testament. dumb fuck

  • @Bimm3rcc So the old testament isn't a bible?? Dumb fuck nugget....

  • @SpardaDVLKing3 didn't say that did I?

  • @SpardaDVLKing3 Yes we can freely choose death or life. If we're dumb enough to reap death into the soil (the earth) then we're gonna reap what we've sown. It's a very simple and logical concept even farmers understand this good seed good soil=good harvest, bad seed bad soil=bad harvest concept and can't shake their fists at GOD because the soill didn't produce a harvest because THEY were dumb enough to put bad seed in the soil. Very easy to understand. We do the same in everyday life.

  • @SpardaDVLKing3 ..and then when it goes bad we shake our fists at GOD and call Him evil because of the DUMB decisions WE CHOSE. It's the equivalent of a young child being taught the truth and morals and then that child CHOOSING to rebel against his parents and when his life falls apart goes back to his parents and tells them how BAD parents they were cause THEY chose to rebel and things went sour. I dont think we're retarded as people just "spiritual challenged".

  • @nicknchrist Coming from a guy who uses science in his earlier comments and then makes a mumble jumble lecture about its not "GOD's" fault. You're pretty ironic.

  • @nicknchrist Atheists aren't "shaking their fists at god". That would be silly. God isn't real. Nothing there to shake a fist at. But, as written, the myth of God shows him to be evil. If you want to follow an imaginary evil God and then say that's good, go ahead. It's highly illogical, but humans are very good at being stupid. If there is any blame to be cast for anyone believing these silly and often cruel stories, it would our parents and ancestors for continuing to shove it down our throats.

  • @nicknchrist What if I don't want free will?

  • @weefeatures Then you're FREE to choose not to be free and stay a slave to sin and the wages of sin which is death or you can hand it over to GOD and say"Hey GOD, I'm tired of always messing up and I ask that YOUR will be done."

  • @nicknchrist But then I still have free will. Ironically it's been imposed upon me.

  • Please don't talk about free will, It's nothing to do with religion, its just an illusion from our genetics, both atheists and religious people are wrong to think we have free will. Genetic, environmental and chemical influences are all natural limitations on our will, and indeed rightly so, if we didn't have them we wouldn't be here, people would have no conscience with free will and would have no inclinations of self preservation. We would be "free" of any innate desires and ambitions.

  • @Andrew920917 I completely agree, my previous post seems to the contrary when out of context.

The physical processes that govern our brains have already dictated what 'choices' we will make when a new situation arises. I was hypothesising with nicknchrist about refusing a god-given free will; being given no choice in whether I can accept his 'free-will' is an ironic fallacy.

  • @weefeatures ah very good point, though i'm not entirely sure nicknchrist will appreciate it, he seems to think block capitals is a viable substitute for logic

  • @SpardaDVLKing3 God may or may not be all powerful and kind, but humans are fucking assholes, that point does not change.

  • @SpardaDVLKing3 I'm Agnostic I don't believe or disbelieve but I like George Carlin's example that God if real is just an apathetic and incompetent asshole just look up "George Carlin Religion Is Bullshit"

  • Can't see that there could be a god? Clearly this man has never taken psychedelic hallucinogens.

  • @golpher93 psychedelic drugs open peoples minds not close them. If every God fearing freak got loaded just once they would drop all religion instantly.

  • If there is a god, he can see that good in people, regardless of their beliefs.

  • @AlexanderRuin this is just as likely a statement as any other. There could very well be a god with a very dark sense of humor who only sends good people to hell.

  • @AlexanderRuin Define good. Can you really call yourself good? Do you even live up to your own standards? The answer is nearly always no. God made the world knowing this, and he put us in a position of complete humility by sending his very own son to die for us.

  • @xVerdictsx Its all in a persons intentions. I was expecting a comment like yours, speaking of things from the bible. You do realize that Jesus in nearly every aspect, including feats and miracles, is a copy of Horus? THe Bible is a poorly written collection of idiocy and medieval thinking. If you're goin to argue, pick something based on reality not something that's less possible than Harry Potter.

  • @AlexanderRuin Where else would a Christian make an argument from? Explain how he is like Horus. "THe Bible is a poorly written collection of idiocy and medieval thinking". This statement is false. The Bible is one of the most historically accurate pieces of literature the world has today. Why would obviously educated men take such detail in presenting accuracy then lie about extraordinary events?

  • @xVerdictsx People don't write 1000+ pages for the lulz. Also, where is the proof that either the Bible or the asshole with no proof or point is wrong or right? I am talking to you @AlexanderRuin. -.-

  • @xVerdictsx The bible is just another frivolous book trying to explain how mankind came to be and a way to control people, come on your damn holy book has missing books within it like books of Mary Magdelene or The Chronicles of the Kings,Judah, and Israel. You believe that a man was born of virgin birth, cured people by touching them, and walked on water and you know what anyone can write a book and call it the truths of life my religion is music mine causes entertainment urs causes most deaths

  • @AlexanderRuin Not an Abrahamic god.

  • @AlexanderRuin there isn't.

  • @AlexanderRuin They're ain't no God.

  • @AlexanderRuin No he can't, because I say so.

  • @AlexanderRuin What makes you say that? I would love to believe that there is a loving God out there but there is simply no reason to believe it. There is no evidence supporting the existence of God. Not only that, but given the complete indifference of our Universe, if there were a God it could hardly be described as loving or even nice.

  • @AlexanderRuin How'd you know that?

  • @Wuggynaut I don't know how he knows that, but I feel the same way and it's because that's the only kind of being that deserves being called god.

  • "I can't make myself believe something that I don't believe". Amen, brother. Perfectly said. Who can argue with that? which is exactly why the whole basis is Christianity falls apart. The fact that you don't believe does not make you a bad person or mean that you should go to 'Hell' for not believing. It's infantile to think that the Universe works that way. It's also infantile to believe that God 'spoke' to only a few men and that we have to just accept what they tell us on faith

  • At 4:10 he says that the animals are evolved by accident. That is not fully true. The Animals/We are not evolved by accident, because evolution is not a random process. Go to talkorigins[dot]org/faqs/chance/chance[dot]html to read more.

  • thats such a dumb reason to become an atheist. "cuz my brother said so".

  • The entire "god" and "religion" is just people who seek something to tell them what to do,because they are clueless all the time.

Humans have a leader-need complex, and due to their Arrogance, they must believe that the entire universe revolves around how they play with their reproductive organs, and the "god" is telling them how to play with it the right way.

Bringing it down, humans are sick and seek to invent something for their own sake and by so they shove each other a snake up their business.

  • @Wharwulif It's more likely for an Atheist to act selfishly; they believe they are a temporary piece of matter. A healthy follower of a religion has a great deal more modesty in them, and patience too! That's the most important part. People that believe in an afterlife probably don't feel the depth of desperation that an Atheist does. "Shit, there's no God, I'm only here by accident for this life only, fuck! What do I do! I need to eat and fuck and feel as much as I can as quickly as possible!"

  • @983215ljhlkadbspig6y Hey,that is why I cannot consider myself an Atheist, since I believe in Everything and The Nothing.Atheist tend to be the first to justify selfish behavior...I will agree there...Religion AIMS toward having some sort of moral codes, but due to the flaws of humanity,it's not logical for them to keep them.

The thing is,The True faithful ones will lean toward high morality out of simple wish to be good,an atheist is more likely to be moral only for Practical reasons.

    People=poop

  • @983215ljhlkadbspig6y Yeah it's true. Arthur Schopenhauer wrote a few things about Boredom. He said that our first main concern is survival, and then the only other concern, after we've accompished survival, is Boredom. It is a very simple, and authentic, way to look at life. You have to keep alive, and then once you do, you have to keep occupied, somehow. And yeah, an atheists attempt at curing spiritual boredom simply with things and theories that are Practical is boring in itself haha.

  • That awkward moment when aliens visit earth and meets religious people.

  • Atheism would disappear if the definition of God wasn't so narrow. God is Everything. God is science, conscience and consciousness. God is the ability to create personal virtues/values in the absence of a belief in God. God is that strange feeling we all have inside of unexplainable nostalgia, the foggy memories of the real experiences we've never lived through in this life. God is the abilty to dream. God is the ability to doubt that God exists. If you dream, you can't be an Atheist.

  • @983215ljhlkadbspig6y So...what you say is eventually that god is the ultimate and unquestionable meaning of complete Boredom?

So...you worship Boredom, has you stare at everything and just call it "god" or "miracle" or "YAY ME EXIST"....

You just fill in a gap of boredom, since if you stop calling everything god, then it will just be names "everything"...now,that is very boring, since it's meaningless...so lets just call it "god" and say "THAT'S THE MEANING"...well,god is just a cure to boredom =P

  • @Wharwulif All I'm saying is Atheists exercise the same style of blind faith as the theists. The existence, or non-existence, of God will never be proven. Everyone knows this. So what it really comes down to is just another choice of Faith. And what I don't get is, why would people WANT to believe they are temporary pieces of matter with no soul, meaning, or purpose? It just makes me sad. Give me Evangelical Christianity, even radical Islam-- anything but Atheism! It lacks in imagination.

  • @983215ljhlkadbspig6y Well,I believe in everything and The Nothing, practically I accept every type of option-what matters is my opinion upon it.

I agree,Atheist life is empty,it's just accepting the machine and following it until death, while religion kinda fills in that gap,the boredom part...so,you prove my point with the best reason =D

True...atheist kinda have blind mechanical faith of "live because I can".

Still, humanity did not manage to get anything by all those ideas...only more horror.
