  • I just get up with the sun. I stopped using an alarm years ago. Seems to be the most natural thing for me.

  • I always wake without an alarm at a good early hour. If I need the sleep, I'll wake later (10.30am latest) naturally.

  • I find that waking up early not only helps me get more sunshine. But as a matter of fact makes me finish things I gotto do earlier and then when I get home I feel like I didn't miss out because its still day time. That was my biggest problem when I slept in was waking up and having things to do that by the time you were finished the day was over!

  • I have been raw for many years and there are times that I can go 36 hrs. without any sleep and have a lot of energy.  The more healthier the body the less food and sleep your body will need.

  • Hmm, thanks for the video. This waking up early -business has caught my eye again...Interesting to hear about the raw food effect as well, since morning grogginess has surely puzzled me for some time now. I mean, I eat a lot of raw vegan food already, but indeed, sweets and that kind of stuff as well...too much sitting on the computer as well. It surely is much nicer to wake up early and get things like exercise done by 8 or 9 am, but still yet to figure this habit out completely...

  • Great points about waking up early. I have a hard time in the winter waking up early because it's soo dark out until 630 am here in New England. I am going to set my bedroom light on a timer to help with getting up ..... any other ideas??

  • I wake up every morning at 5:00 so I have time to make my juice and watch the sun rise. I love it. I haven't set an alarm in years. I don't even know if it works. Having a peaceful entry to the day totally changes your life for the better. Starting your morning wtih a yoga class sounds wonderful. Unfortunately I still have to go to an office. Your skin glows today. I know some people still like tatoos but I think natural is prettier on you. You have great skin.

  • @rui27marne I do smoothies and juices for breakfast and lunch- lately I've been doing warm soups a lot for lunch. Try to keep it all liquids till dinner.

  • @crystallyn2 Oh Im not to the point where I can just get up early. Still need an alarm:) Though my body does know its time to get up, I still set one to be safe.

  • I wake up 6.30 and make a really fatty omelet every day. Usually eight hours of sleep and then working in the lab, then workout. Try and cook some low carb food, film it and have a life outside of it. Not easy, I tells ya, living healthily. I can agree on that I feel "left out" of the world if I sleep in. So I don't...

  • If only that did indeed apply to me! I find myself still needing a large amount of sleep and I have been 90%+ raw for 6 months

  • @havokeachday could b that you may have been sleep deprived for a while? everybody is different on their sleep but you need to sleep until you are rested.
