@starclassic71 ....We have 4 per side. Our average crowd is about 250, but we just played to 1100 last weekend and the coverage was great. Our FOH guy was new, and was shocked at how much headroom he had.
The speakers that are in the the TVI C 212's are TVI's proprietary drivers. I don't own a set, but friends I know who do love theirs the way I love mine :)
You will have to work out price with the company. I don't get sell for them, I just like them. I would recommend the active 4 per side like we have. It's a whole lot of sound and very easy to power. 8 boxes on 1 circuit?!? Crazy.

@ernienell Hmm.. don't know if my last post posted.. In our situation, we are a band, not a sound company. Thus, our setup is smaller than the rigs we use at festivals. I can say that I have heard equivalent size rigs in the JBL VRX and EAW K-Series, and I think they are far better than the JBL, and maybe even better than the EAW. It's almost impossible to listen to a Vertec or X-ray that isn't 12 boxes per side, but the throws do seem to be similar.
I feel very confident in the C-208's covering 1500 people easy. I would prefer to have 6 per side when getting into full balconies, but they do have plenty of juice.
how many mains do you have per side? What is the size f the audience at your performances?
