It's always scary when that sort of thing happens on the race track. I race bandits at mis and luckly got through the season without getting hit really hard. Thank god he was ok.
Wow! Thank goodness it was passenger side and not driver's! I was in a similar situation, only head-on. Very scary! You can always replace the car! We go to Rockford every year for the Bahama Brackets (unfortunately to watch as of late). Well run track and good racing, but some scary wrecks for such a small track.
Yea he was okay. The cage hit his knee pretty hard but it could have been much worse. It wasn't much fun for me because I passed it just after and had to stop for the red flag, and I couldn't turn around to see what was going on because I was strapped in the car. It really sucked not knowing of he was ok or not. :(
thats what happened to me when i was racing i got hit in the driver door and i broke my arm when i got hit
