Fortunately I've never had to use it!

@cypherx82 I don't think Glocks are ugly, but I wouldn't date one ;). However, the low bore axis makes recoil control easy, and the plastic and metal coatings ("Tenifer") make it very low-maintenance. Don't have to wipe it down every day! Not classy maybe, but very functional (and in my experience, dead-reliable. Better than my Kimber)!

Sigs get bonus points for a metal frame, the grip (feels so good), and (least importantly) looks.
No offense, but Glocks are fugly. :P

A Glock 18 would cost you AT LEAST 20,000 dollars..
With a 200 dollar tax stamp on top of that. Add to that the fact that there are either 3 Glock 18's legal for civilian sale, or more likely three Glock 17's converted and registered before 1986, being legal for sale(as far as I know) and I'll have to call b.s. big time on you.
Maybe you have a Glock 17, like Cutlerylover.... You most definitely do not have a legal to own, Glock 18.

by opening boxes do you mean cutting the tape that is holding the box in place or actually cutting the cardboard. also i think the cold steel instucinal vid for inferno said it had a 5 year shelf life, i dunno if that applys for edc use......

Glock 18's are full auto's, guy. If your country's correct... Canada doesn't allow full auto's, except to law enforcement agencies..
If you are in Canada and have a Glock 18, than you just admitted to violating several of Canada's gun laws all at once.

@Speedogg138 as i live in the uk we can`t own hand guns at all, let alone carry one we can own rifels and 2 shot shot guns, no autos no pump action. but the liscenceing is very tight indeed. just a thought about your comment you say hes stupid for carrying a gun and not needing to use it ? what about been in a situation where you need a gun having had the right to own and carry a gun, but you chose not to.. as you take your last breath you can then ask yourself who`s stupid !

@Speedogg138 I know, when people see what my EDC carry, they ask me, why do carry a swiss army knife, and a switchblade (actually assisted opener) for? I would have to tell them that my knife is not a switchblade, and that I just carry them to use for cutting boxes and such.

Hey just a suggestion for a case for your iphone is made by a company called otter box they make some cases that are very durable i.e. i have talked to people who have dropped it and had it run over by a car and the phone was perfectly fine

I have to ask, why waste the money on an iphone if you just wanted a phone? I have a sort of hatred for apple, mostly because too many fools out there waste their money on something from them. Then a few months later or a year later they have a new one and those fools go out and waste more cash on the newest one. I just can't stand companies like that, and the fanboys who do that kind of crap.

ah i've been looking into getting a conceal carry permit here but it's so hard to get one in LA county. i'd love one for my reporting work since i do work on the crime beat for the campus newspaper. but like i said LA county is very tough on CCPs

Your mistake is, you believe that everyone will side with the intended victim, using reason and logic. In reality, you do NOT want to ever be in a fist fight, if you can help it.
