when i mount my iso file, it just says if i want to open the folder to view files. its weird because on the add drives option it doesnt say add cd or dvd drive. rather it says, add DT, SCSI, and IDE drive. are those other names for CD and DVD, or am i using the wrong daemon tools.?

@prototypepimpin you should press ADD DT devices, and when you monut an image just select that drive to mount it. Thats all hope I helped :)

DX11 doesn't mean you have the right files. In most cases there is a folder on the disc called DirectX or some sort. Install the SETUP.EXE file in it. And it should work.

@GamersPlaystation3 if the size of your file is 700+mb you need to use a dvd rom. try to get a DVD-RW cause that means if it goes wrong you can still ReWrite over the old data.
