From what I've heard, people from all over the world will be coming to Sri Dham Mayapur to see this temple and take Darshan of Sri Sri Radha-Madhava, Pancatattva, Sri Ugra Nrsimha, and the Brahma Madhva Gaudiya Sampradaya, starting from the Six Goswamis. So if this temple creates this event, then it is perfect. Do not dismiss it just because it is not of your taste...Because you'll definitely be missing out...=]

Srila Prabhupada started ISKCON for one purpose, to create a place where people who wanted to develop their love for God, could gather and help each other achieve this goal. It doesn't matter what a temple looks like, if it doesn't achieve this purpose, it could be the most beautiful structure you have seen, and it would still be useless.

Don't get me wrong, the 3D design is impressive, a fusion of global architecture no doubt. It's just that, as an artist, watering down your art to sell it has never been a good idea. One must be true to his art, it will withstand the test of time. Now, maybe this was designed to include all other cultural and religious tastes, to avoid "Hindu" exclusivity. After all, SP said we are not our cultural labels, it makes sense. Please bear with me, coming to grips with this decision. Hare Krishna.

I know most are accustomed to ignoring the white elephant in the room. I detect a defensive mood here. The previous Vedic design was absolutely magnificent. Was this "White House" or Vatican Roman Architecture design decision due to time and budgetary constraints?  If so, I could understand. I left the Roman Catholic religion for a reason, the lies made me sick. I love Vedic culture. And now I will have to see the Vatican in Mayapura? Please help me understand. I'm a SP disciple since 1976.

I'm in Vishishtadvaita Sri-Sampradaya Vedanta and a Krishna Bhakta. This is a very awesome construction and I support it! But a question arises: What why a Pyramid?

I don't believe the assassination of Swami Praphupada nor the Illuminati conspirator stupidity. But I suspect a kind of esoteric teaching or a hidden Initiatic society inside ISKCON. Could it be a sign of the Theological Society of Mme. Blavatsky?

Hum......Maybe ISKCON is going to be THE religion of tomorrow!

Seems all nonsense to me. This is the material world and there's all kinds of weird and undesirable things going on. please understand that the description of universe and planetary system is clearly mentioned in the first canto of Srimad Bhagatam.

Even in this 2010 till now nobody dared to say that description is wrong. Even scientist consider it as one of the models that can explain the universe and its working.

And it has such a huge hall inside where u can take darshan of gaura nitai and radha madhav, all together at one time. So, its nice for me. :-) My pranams go to those who are working so hard in building this magnificant temple. I don't know abt the old model, but this will also make u happy:-)

Just like Catholics use statues of Mary and Jesus and others in churches. Ancient traditions that survived 5000 years might seem strange to your little brain. It is ok if you cannot comprehend it. Just refrain from making a fool out of yourself in the future, without understanding the dynamics of a particular religion.

I've heard in a lecture from Bhadrinarana Pr in LA, that in Sept the construction is supposed to start, and after 3 years it might be so far, to move the deities to this new temple....
