And FYI, the smurflings were created by mistake. It was when they went to see father time, I think. By mistake Natural smurf (and one of his butterflies), Snap smurf, and Slouch smurf, went into this magic clock and when they came out they were younger & then changed. Normal smurfs don't act like this. The smurflings got better clothing they choose for themselves and they were into Rock n' Roll. Odd.

When she was created, though, she was ugly, and Papa Smurf had to fix that (naturally). Sassette was created by the inexperienced Smurflings, and they put too much spice into the mixture; that's why she's not as sweet as Smurfette.

I also watched this show a lot as a kid. I'm looking forward to the new (live action) movie they're making of it.
