this video remembered of my traditional palestinian wedding. I married outside Palestine but our wedding was palestinian bcouse we love our traditions and custome. We will be forever palestinian no import if we living in Europe. Palestinee i love u so much.
i cant get enough of this- what kind of wedding is better than this? ive never seen any type of strong brotherhood in my life- every1 knows what to do for some reason- haha
My friend stayed in Palestine to help the poor people and he said they were the nicest people in the world. Whether greek orthodox christian or muslim, they were all loving, caring and welcomed us into their churches and mosques. I pray for all the kind hearted Palestinian people.
It was impressive and the clapping was controlled and more dedicated. Still, I would prefer either (palm leaves and coconut halves) being clapped together (so you do not copy the jews in any way).
Thameen thanks for posting this clip as it brought me back 25yrs when it was the first and last seen real Zaffa in homeland Ateel, Tolkarm ,as i wasnt allowed to enter till now thanks again
it is quite exciting because in plaestine, whether you are christian or moslem, when you go to a wedding, you behave according to the rules of that wedding, and identify with it! it is fun!
I want to know the difference between Muslim Palestinian weddings and Christian Palestinian WEddings... is there very much difference or is it basically the same?
well, other than religious differences, christian weddings start in church vs moslem weddings in which a contract is signed beforehand and the ceremony is usually at home/reception hall/etc.also, the traditional songs/zaffa/ are more prevalent in the moslem ones, although in the christian ones, there are some songs, usually initiated by the grandmothers after the church ceremony. also in chrisitan weddings, the groom and bride don't see one another the night before.
wow. Your whole town comes to your wedding or someone out there has a very BIG family... lol
