the only reason i didn't buy this is because i already have all their albums on vinyl sans come on pilgram. i just couldn't justify the price with its content.

Yeah it is a shame if there isn't any of the original artwork. It would have been cool to see outtakes of it too. I still want it though.

Okay... the set is very cool but $500 for 5 cd's I've had over ten years? No new music? Yes the books are cool but really its about the music. This is like an art piece instead of a bands box set. I love all things Pixies but I just don't think its worth the cash.

@Pistola425 I concur, it just seems like a waste of money aside from the Blu-ray audio and the concert, like, I don't see the point. Sure the vinyl is great, but you have the Blue-ray thing now... And ya, we all already own it all. PLUS there isn't any of the actual album artwork (that I could see), wtf is with that?

Now I love the Pixies, don't get me wrong, but I feel like this was an attempt that could have been better, something for actual music-people, ya know?

I really dislike the pennis draw on the artbook cover, it looks tacky, It doesn´t fell like something vaughan oliver would pick at all (oddly he did), otherwise the boxset is pure perfection, hope I'll get mine soon
