i saw against me live about 2 years ago at the croatian cultural centre in vancouver (smallish venue) and it was one of the best live performances ive ever been too and this is coming from someone who doesnt even listen to anything after "searching for a former clarity". my clothes were soaked in sweat, it was such an amazing show !!!

The thing about Tom Gabel is, yes his band has gone popular and will play in arenas now, but he hasn't forgotten about the people who love his old music as well and will still play shows in small venues where people about one foot of elbow room around them. Perhaps you've heard of his show not too long back where it was just him and the original drumming playing a list of their old music? I wasn't there, but seeing the videos I can tell it was pretty bad ass.

yea dude, i saw him last winter, he played everything from his ep, and all the kick-ass songs like walking is still honest , and shit stroll, he is still a very down to earth guy, it just sucks that warren is gone..
