lol the Barbarian is so boring and dull, I'm sure if they put their heads together they could have taken out the most unentertaining and n00b class from D2 and replaced him with something a bit more flavorful. I guess I'd choose the Witch doctor. No Necromancer... ):

From what i seen so far

Wizzard = Sorc/Bone Necro/ Ele druid

Barbarian = Barb with tweeks

Demon Hunter = Zon/Sin

Monk = martial arts Sin/charge pally

Witch Doctor = Summoner/Curse necro from compton ca lol

Sick of waiting for this game, there Probley trying to figure out how to get the most money on a release date even if it means releasing in 2013. Who knows... Hate how they upload videos and never tell you when the games comming up. There just teasing us, bullshit.

And yes, I'm a D2-veteran and am aware that "tanks" have no place in Diablo games the way they do in WoW. I'm still going to make my first as defensive as possible. I'll be plunging into massive hordes of the burning hells while my brother stands back and does his thing with a Witch Doctor or Demon Hunter. GOD I CAN'T WAIT.

My first character will be a juggernaut-tier oriented Barbarian. I'm going to try to make him/her as much of a tank as possible. Next, I'm going for a conjuring-oriented Wizard, trying to make him/her as viable melee as possible. Melee looks very promising for the Wizard, a pleasant surprise. You could pimp out an enchant sorc with 'beast' and stuff in D2, but you'd never compete in melee against a leet barb or paladin, or wolf druid for that matter. Hopefully many builds are viable in D3.

I played diablo 2 a lot..I'm not a pro or anything...Just a casual player..I never really though it has anything goth in it...It was simple for me...I'm good...monsters are evil..Kill monsters..Reign Supreme...game over...

It really isn't. They got the lighting better here but it still feels like Warcraft, not Diablo. The art direction of Diablo was lost when the original team disbanded.

@Legoman513 This has been beaten to death and no one really cares anymore, it looks awesome and you know you will buy it. Also WoW brings alot of good features, some of which we will se in Diablo. Just because it exists in wow doesnt make it bad. Enough said, give me the game!

Don't worry, I've changed my views since I made that comment anyways (4 months ago). On one hand, I still do not approve of the art direction they've taken as compared to the original Diablo, but on the other, they have SIGNIFICANTLY improved the art direction since DIII's announcement (newer screens look fantastic), and it really just isn't that big of a deal anyways. Torchlight for me demonstrated that this art style will work just fine.

Blizzard revisited the game a whole deal after reading posts of fans in the community forums. That's why it takes so long for the game to come out. The folks at Blizzard actually care about their fans and want Diablo III to meet all expectations.
