@0FindGlory From the trivia section of this movie on the imdb.com website: His profile appears on a neon sign visible through the apartment window approximately 55 minutes into the movie. The neon sign advertises "Reduco," the same fictional weight-loss product that Hitchcock advertised in his famous newspaper ad cameo in Lifeboat (1944). Some sources indicate that he also appears walking down the street during the opening credits.
@0FindGlory It was a neon sign of his famous profile in the background. Hitchcock originally was going to have it there through the entire film, but it was a little obvious and too "jokey." I think it just appears in that one scene in the movie. Also, he is seen passing in front of the apartment building (from quite a distance) at the beginning of the film.
@bitemypillow sorry as soon as i posted i got it, thought you meant hitchcock did, was not being rude it took me some twenty viewings to find him in dial m was trying t6o be helpful. no offence meant.
These cameo clips are from the alfred hitchcock collection, not all of his films just the films in that collection... i have another video with Dial M for Murder and North by Northwest.
Great compilation, some are a complete surprise. The only one I know of that is missing here is my favorite, from Lifeboat, where he appears in a weight loss ad in a newspaper one of the survivors was reading.
great video I wish you could have put a little variety in your music the 'punchenello' them goes much longer than just the 40 sec Hitchcock tune so that would have alt least padded out the variety also there are many superb Bernard Hermann instrumentals you could have put in.
Probably has been mentioned but he missed Blackmail (1929)–one of AH's longest cameos– though it may not be in this collection

Thanks! I remember spotting him in "Frenzy." He's also in "Notorious" as a party guest.
