pawan if i play F, C and Bb in the first few lines it sounds better to me, it goes like;

(F) Tumne jo .. na kaha(C) main vo sun(Bb)ta raha (F)

that will do fine - although it may not be what was originally played - remember, as long as the chord contains the note at that point and it contains notes of the scale you are playing in, it is fine. for instance, the note is G on "kaha", so try playing Gm instead, it will sound every better :)

hi suny!

it requires some ear-training to catch what the original chord was, but if u don't know, in most cases u can substitute with a regular major or minor chord

i use a takamine eg341sc, don't know how much it wud cost out there, here it's in the range of $400 ...

hi there, won't be able to post a video for this one - song is in G# and opening lines have G#, C# and D# - if u r not comfy with barre chords, place a capo on the first fret and play G, C, D - or just sing along one key lower!!

I wanted to know what equipment you are using to record your videos, just using a digital camera or you have a mic/pick-up for your guitar and then you are recording voice and video through computer?

i play the songs on the computer with a small speaker, either youtube or phulki

guitar has built in pickups, so i use my guitar amps

and camera is a jvc hdd camcorder - it's on a tripod and i use a remote to control it.

i've only started using amps recently, videos before june were without amps but sound was ok then too, of course amps make it crisper and u can add reverb, etc ...

Awesome Pawan, i have one question.. how do u identify the strumming pattern.. is it the same A sense we use to identify the chords or is it some maths we use :)

that's a great question, madhur :)

i play by ear, then dissect the pattern to explain it - but u can learn by going thru basic lessons with a teacher or other good players

keep practising different songs, and ur ear will get "trained" - and if u have the passion, it will happen quite soon :)

i guess there are many ways to play this, some use 3rd finger to fret strings 4,3 and 2, but i guess u mean, using 3rd finger to fret strings 4 and 3, and using pinky to fret string 2 - sure, u cud do that, or did u mean something else ?
