Oh ye there great lenses around the same price as the 55-200mm as well, By the way this is my old you tube account if you want to see my new videos, My username is:
Yeah definitely. It's great for the price though. You can still manage to get those artistic looking DSLR pictures with this camera after some practice.
The numbers show how much it can zoom. The higher the number, the higher it can zoom. It doesn't have to do with quality. 55-200 lens is meant for zooming in on things that are sort of far away. It's good for things like sports and getting closeups on animals and stuff like that. The MP determine the quality but if you compare a 6 MP DSLR to a 6 MP point-and-shoot, there is a HUGE difference. I'm no camera expert but this Is what I know.
Really? Didn't realize many people were buying it right now lol... I want to get into photography and this one that had good reviews and was a pretty good price so decided to get it and I'm pretty satisfied =)

This camera is ideal if you are just looking for a first DSLR Camera..
However a more serious shooter would be advised to spend a bit more cash

whats the difference between the 18-55 and the 55-200 lense, isit just the quality? or does the MP matter for quality or just size?

its 6.1MP right?

Yup, not a huge difference from 10 MP unless you print out large prints often.
